from first contact to bid, to install, the experience was great. They did what they said they would do when they said they'd do it. Creative solutions and honest answers.

The finished shower enclosure is lovely and has no clips or metal hardware, which is exactly what I wanted.  Wayne came out twice to measure to make sure that it would fit precisely.  They notched the tile to fit in the glass to hold it securely.

Callender's was very professional, responsive, and friendly. They sent a representative out twice to work through getting us an appropriate quote. Their quote was the lowest we received, and once we decided to give them the job they ordered our windows right away and came out bright and early on the Monday of a holiday weekend to install the windows. They worked hard all day, did a very thorough job and left our house clean. One of the window screens had come from the manufacturer with a flaw, which we noticed after the crew left. Callender's was very helpful in addressing the issue right away and arranging for a replacement. I'd recommend using them anytime!

They were courteous and did good work. They were able to give me suggestions. I am completely satisfied.

My experience with them was excellent.  Everything was done as described and in a timely way.  He came exactly when he said and installed it.  I have used them before and was satisfied with them.  So I called them again.  They were excellent.  They gave me an estimate and it was reasonable but I checked it out with another glass company locally.  They did an excellent job.

Two men came by and trimmed and adjusted the doors so that they slid easily. They pointed out that the roller wheels were very worn. I said go ahead and replace them. They ordered replacement wheels and they came back in one week to install them. The doors now slid like new. Very happy with the result and price. The six replacement wheels cost about $20 each. So the labor cost was very reasonable.

Callender's was amazing throughout the entire process. They were easy to communicate with by phone or email (VERY responsive via email). They came out to give us a quote and were super knowledgeable and friendly. We had almost a duplicate bid from another company but went with Callenders because they were so accommodating and down to earth. We didn't feel like we were being sold on anything! Once we ordered the windows, we had to wait a few weeks for them to be custom made (very standard) and then they promptly called us to schedule the install date. The crew showed up on time, were very professional, courteous and fast. The three-man crew had all our windows out, retrofitted the new windows, sealed up everything and left within 6 hours. Since it was very warm the day of the install, our cocking began to crack after a day, so I called them and they happily came out within a few days to re-c*** the seal!
We will likely be replacing our french doors in the near future and I wouldn't think to you anyone except Callenders!

I planned to replace a very large mirror in a powder room and needed it done in just a few days. They arrived just on the appointment time. He had some suggestions for replacement when I was ready. There was never any pressure, and it is up to me to call whenever I am ready.
I would definitely use this firm again. The office I used is located in Camarillo, California, but it is the same company as the Santa Barbara office.

Over the past several years I replaced the plastic screens in my windows with more durable and animal resistant metal screens. This work was done exclusively by Callendar's Glass on De La Vina in Santa Barbara. I also had a bathroom mirror replaced. The work was done quickly and satisfactorily.

They are friendly, punctual and they have reasonable prices. Even if they equal other competitor's prices, they do a better and more conscientious job.They don't have to come back and have it replaced and they will get the parts and they will use the correct parts for the little wheels and all these materials that you need for these things.

I have used this company for 25 years. I think it's the best one in town. They're very competent and do good work. They don't cringe at a small job, and send you away like the other companies. They do what the client asks them to do.

Time was of the essence for this work as a rehearsal dinner for a wedding was scheduled to be held at the house in 5 days. Called on a Monday, they came and looked at it and called me with an estimate. Called them Tuesday morning to say go ahead and they said they would cut the glass that day and come by to install it on Wednesday. Called me back in the afternoon to say the glass was ready and they had someone available. They came and did the work professionally and cleaned up all signs of the previous glass and their work. I will definitely call them next time I need some glass work.

We have been using them for several years, and we have never been disappointed. Their prices are very fair, and their work is outstanding.

Quote was more than $100 less than Pella. Came out to measure when they said they would. Phoned with quote awhen they said they would. Came out to install the new glass when they said they would. (Notice a trend here?) Cleaned up after themselves, were friendly, we were punctual . . . not what we often experience with Santa Barbara repair people!
