Wendy's Vinyl Windows

We have done a lot of remodeling lately, but this was the easiest and most pleasant part. Wendy did the doors and windows of several of our neighbors, so she came well-recommended. She came and sat with us and showed us pictures of some of the models we had not yet seen in the neighborhood. Wendy is very sweet, by the way, and a real joy to deal with. We chose the vinyl windows and doors with a "fench rail" (a wider trim around the edges - really nice). The next day, Wendy sent her installer, Marco, to do all the measurements. Marco is very pleasant and professional. We assumed that it would take a few weeks to get the doors and windows made to order, but it took just a few days. Marco and his helper came and removed the old doors and windows and installed the new ones in one day. They were neat, courteous and professional. Marco explained to me what they were going to do and how they would do it. Then afterwards he gave me a brief recap of what they had done and some instructions (i.e.: the caulking will take about 4 hours to touch-dry, so don't touch it). They did a superb job and left the house immaculate. The results are fantastic. It feels like having a new house. Also, the windows and doors are very thick and soundproof, so they make everything so quiet when they are closed. It's great. Wendy also instructed us about the energy tax credit we could get for buying these doors and windows, and showed us how to submit the stickers that came on the windows so that we could get the full tax credit.
