SolarCity - Orange County

They are very knowledgeable. They have a lot of options to choose from like leasing or purchase power agreements and they explain everything. We thought they were just really knowledgeable and we could rely on everything they said and so far, the service has just been wonderful. They were a lot faster even when they said they would. We got it up and running about two months before we expected to. We did a purchase power agreement so there was no upfront cost to us at all when you go that direction. So, it is just a decrease in our usage and in what we pay, but we did not have to pay them to install them. They own the equipment.

Personally, our experience was fantastic!  From the start, we had nothing but professionalism, experience, talent, and lots of effort in the installation of our solar system.  The Solar City employees and contractors that came out to the house were flawless in their desire to get the job done correctly and to have the installation process go as smoothly as possible.  
There were a lot of steps in the process that needed to be addressed and the Solar City people handled everything with aplomb.  Also, a big thanks to the City of Yorba Linda's building department staff for being so prompt and responsive in the permit process.  This is just one of the many reasons that this is a fantastic city to live in.  
I would be remiss if I didn't mention that our SC representative, Brett Barron was the #1 reason why our install went so smoothly.  He was professional, courteous, responsive, and genuinely took a keen interest in the installation of the system and in our understanding of the process of solar power.  
Kudos to SC for having such a great associate as Brett being available for us during this period....and thank you, Brett, for being there for us.  Whenever we had questions and/or concerns, your communication and responsiveness were much appreciated!
One last note, we just want to share that Solar City was not the cheapest contractor whom we had contacted and requested bids for, but their professionalism, quality of product and service was so well worth it.  The "cost of" figure you see on this review was after the federal tax credits.  This is just another classic case of "you get what you pay for."
