I did get 3 quotes and So Cal Fencing were in the middle as far as cost. But I choose them because Rich showed the most knowledgeable and was the most professional than the other 2 companies I talked to.
When Richard came out to start the work with his crew they were all very nice and respectful. Richard was flexible and easy to work with when the neighbor and I decided to change the location of the back gates. The crew had the old fence down the first day and stacked it up at the curb and they called a guy to pick it up and recycle it the same day. The whole process took about 3 1/2 days for 213 feet of fencing with 2 small gates and 1 large gate.
All whole experience was great.
disappointed by the quality of the job. We got a redwood fence.
Several of the fence boards came loose because they weren't fixed
properly. The boards are cheap and not uniform, making variable spaces so
that you can see through the fence into neighboring yards. The gate was
sagging (making it difficult to close) after just one week.
"Redwood fence picket come with a lot of water inside wood and it will shrink when it drys. will take 2 to 3 weeks for wood to dry."
We hired So Cal Fencing to install 50 feet of 3 foot high privacy fencing on top of our backyard concrete wall which looks out into the alley of a commercial strip mall. We first met with Rick who arrived on time, took measurements, provided us with a firm price for the job and told us about the vinyl materials they use.
As the install day neared Sandra at So Cal Fencing called us to give us the time the installers would arrive and she also called again the afternoon before the install to remind us. Richard and Tony arrived on time on the install date. They looked over the job and gave us a time estimate for how long the install would take. They worked efficiently and finished the job on schedule,
Before they left, they made sure to clean up. We were very pleased with the workmanship and the professionalism of the installers. I should add that Tony Brock, the owner of the company also showed up with the installers and spent a few minutes showing us where the installers would insert the posts that hold together the fencing to achieve the strongest support for the vinyl panels.

"I'm sorry [Member name removed] you fill that I'm over charging you. But we have a minimum to install wood fencing (that is 30ft.) If you are a pass customer,We will do your job at a resemble price . The price of wood went up 20% from last year. The job we did last year was big job and I got some really good price from suppler. The price that I gave you is a good price for the small job . I'm Sorry I cant do better on price."
Overall, it went well. The pricing was about right. They were able to schedule us without much delay.
