Semper Solaris - Santa Ana

I was thinking about going solar for over 5 years. I realized now was the correct time to invest since solar technology has improved and the tax incentives that assist with purchasing a system are declining. I interviewed 4 different companies where the price comparison between quotes can be confusing. I selected Semper Solaris because of the quality Sunpower panels and micro inverters Semper Solaris provides (most efficient panel on market) and the 25-year warranty for both the panels and inverters. Semper Solaris was higher in price than some of the other quotes however they offered higher quality products. I also had Semper Solaris install another layer of shingles on the roof prior to installing the panel. Bob King, the project lead for my effort, was very knowledgeable about the product, answered all questions, and was an overall good communicator during the whole process. Semper Solaris did a great job installing and clean-up of both the reshingle and the solar panels (tested during the heavy So CA rain, no leaks!). The biggest frustration of the process was waiting for LADWP (3 months) to grant the approval to operate (no fault of Semper Solaris). I’m looking forward to receiving my low utility bill especially in the summer when we need to occasionally use the A/C. I highly recommend Semper Solaris!!
