Did get estimates from other companies so don't know how the price compares but given the work, seemed reasonable, thus the "b" rating on price. The way the repairs were made was good and done right. The cleanliness with which he did the work was not so good. He guys cut rusted bolts to remove the posts and rust debris was left on the deck so now we have specks of rests that won't come off. They sprayed some kind of a cement material as part of the work but didn't hose off the glass enclosure and there is specs of cement tried and stuck on the banister and glass. One of his guys broke a vase and we didn't discover it until I stepped on a piece of glass. He offered no restitution for the loss vase. He seemed to intentionally withhold the left over paint from the job until I made a big stink about it and when he came over to drop it off, he took his dog out of a truck and had it do its business on my front lawn. Passive aggressive? Strange.
Description of Work: The work he did was replacing rotted out posts holding up a 2nd story deck. Pulling up the top layer and replacing the foundation of another part of the deck. Installing new copper flashing so the work was pretty major. Painting entire upper and lower deck.
