I went to Lending Tree researching refinance options. I received 2 or 3 calls from various mortgage loan officers and when I received the 4th call from Roque Gonzales I liked the way he laid out the refinance options and the fact that he immediately emailed the options and a sample good faith while I was on the telephone talking to him.   I decided to give him our information via phone and he emailed a package and a checklist that I faxed back the next day. We then talked and emailed back and forth over the next days and I gave them anything additional that was required. An appraiser come out in a timely manner (I paid up front for the appraisal by credit card and have been reimbused for that fee) and the house appraised for more than enough money. One glitch that I took care of was to close the equity line of credit with my previous mortgage company before closing, no big deal. All of the closing costs were rolled into the new loan which was a 15 YEAR LOAN AT 3% RATE AND RECEIVED A CREDIT ON THE ORIGINATION FEE. Their origination charge was $491.25 and no Points. Settlement charges and prepaid items cam to We signed the closing documents 8/23/12 exactly one month after my initial contact with Roque on 7/23/12 and the notary came to the house.I have been an active real estate agent for 23 years and am totally familiar with closing docs and closings. If you are not familiar with any of these procedures I recommend that you have the closing with an attorney who handles real estate transactions and can explain the pertinent documents to
