Out Of The Gutter Inc.

My initial rating/response to this company was 5 stars given the experience on the initial sales and installation experience. However, once significant rains began post installation, a section on the side of the house became loose causing the rain water to cascade off of the roof in sheets. It took quite awhile to coordinate a return visit to fix the section that came loose but the company did return to do the work in November 2020. Unfortunately, the fix did not take and the problem returned after the next rains. My problem now is that no one will return my calls/emails after numerous attempts over the past 2.5 months. I'm not sure if the company is in business anymore based on this lack of responsiveness so I will most likely have to pay another company to complete the work that should be covered by Out of the Gutter.

Run, do not walk away from this company! I tried to send a letter to them and the address at 1241 E. Warner is not good. And the letter was not forwarded. Wonder where they are? They put in some roof drains around 3 years ago and it looked good at the time. After they finished their work, when it rained, water poured through the ceiling. After some effort, they finally sent someone out that "repaired" the previous work that had been done. A year or so after that, with this last rain, there is water coming through our ceiling again in exactly the same place. I called them 3 weeks ago to tell them what was happening. Several times they promised they would call me back and never did. He said they were really busy (as if that's my fault). Maybe they should stop taking new jobs and correct the problems they created before they take on new business. Finally, they sent someone out. Turns out, as they guy who showed up put it, he is more of a "gutter guy" and just took photos to give to Ian, apparently one of the managers. "Gutter guy" had nothing good to say about the installation - saying that the drain pipes that were installed were too small, that they should have at least put in gravel screens at the scuppers on the roof and also that the discharge drainage was a problem. I reminded him that it was his company that did the installation. Of course, Out of the Gutter management says their own employee never communicated that to them. After not hearing back for several days i finally got a hold of the manager and he said he would get someone out there that Friday mid-day. He said they will definitely take care of the problem. I reminded him that I have to drive an hour to get to the property so he said he would call me by 9:30 that morning. You guessed it- no phone call. I drove up anyway hoping that they would show up but that didn't happen. No surprise there. I called their cell phones but no answer - not surprising either. I've called and texted several times since with no response. So now it's been over 3 weeks and, I guess, they are content to just watch the damage continue. Would love to be able to change this review and say that they came out to fix the problem that they created, but I'm doubtful that will happen. They still have not responded! In reading some of the reviews, other people are facing the same poor service, lack of showing up as promised, no return phone calls, etc. You can be sure that you will be treated the same way. BEWARE! My understanding is that this company has gone through some major changes in the past few months. STAY AWAY!

The installers, as well as the guy that came out first and provided the quote, were courteous, professional, and easy to deal with. Price was very fair, work completed in a timely and clean manner, and I would recommend this company to anyone needing gutters.

Great guys - A huge selection of colors and modern angles of gutters and custom downspouts. They don't look like the old corrugated ones, perfect for our home after a full gut remodel.

Garrett from Out of the Gutter in Newport Beach, California was here Tuesday 10/01/2019. He appeared knowledgeable and stated that a comprehensive gutter overhaul including cleaning, sloping, securing and resealing for a two story, 4000 sf house will cost $1,495.00. I accepted his offer only because he was highly rated by Angie's List. The next day, Brandon was here alone with a hand blower and a few tubes of construction seal for exactly three hours, from 9am to 12pm. I could not believe that I am being charged $1,495.00 for three hours of work. I asked Brandon if he thinks this is a reasonable price. He said he is visiting from Texas and is going back to Texas and I should get in touch with Garrett, the contractor. I have sent a few emails to Garrett and his answer is that he has done the work and I have agreed to pay $1,495.00

Their quote came in under 2 other companies which I liked! They suggested different looks on how to place the gutter downspouts (and believe me there are options). I appreciated that!!! The guys were amazing! There were 5 maybe 6 that showed up and were all very professional and worked fast and efficient. They cleaned up perfectly and followed up the next day to make sure I was satisfied. I would definitely recommend and use Out of the Gutter again :)

Small home: 840 sq.ft. Ten percent off first service. Jerry came over the very next day to look over my house and give me a quote. We did go with the aluminum material. The manufacturer had plenty of colors to chose from; although, they do not have ten different shades of the same color. They did not have a green to match the green trim of my house so, I opted for an Ivory color to (hopefully) create this tri-color scheme with primary color, trim, and color vinyl of the new windows. I figured if the color truly bugged me, I could just paint it myself ( my house being a single story and all ). A one man crew came and installed a week later and was finished by lunch time. Before installing, he went over where I would like to place the downspout. One option was placing the downspout directly on the corner line where he two walls meet or on the very end of one of those two walls that runs along the side of ground that slopes down hill (where the water will naturally run down ). Another downspout decision was either placing it right by my bedroom window or further down by the restroom window. Fortunately, I did have an option there. I wasn't sure if sound of the water pouring out of the spout would be a tad bit loud. I appreciated having the final say on these small details. There is one area of the house that is not ready to have the gutter placed. I will definitely be giving these guys a call when the time comes.

Out of the Gutter did a fantastic job. We had them clean out the gutters of our apartment building. These gutters are on the roof of our three story building. They were completely filled with leaves from tall overhanging trees. All leaves and debris were removed and they made sure to clean up all the debris that fell onto sidewalks and grounds during the cleaning. From start to finish they were wonderful to work with and got the job done quickly and efficiently. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to friends and family.

I manage an older building in silver lake. During the heavy rain season we had issues with our gutters overflowing, not draining and just generally not being in great condition. I called Out Of The Gutters and Vlad the owner came out to give me an estimate. I had a few others and they promised more work for a lower price. Their servicemen came and took care of the whole building. Months later I noticed some pooling and called them again, Vlad came out again to ***** the building, give me some advice and didn't charge for the fixes. They even installed a downspout in a problematic area for no additional charge. I can't say enough about this company. They were great to work with. I've recommended them to the other manager's in our company. - Drew

These guys did a great job! Cleaned my gutters, some corner repairs and new down spouts, painted to match my house. They were prompt and thorough.

I have hired this company twice now and both times the experience was great. It took a little while to into their schedule as it was a somewhat a wet winter but they fit us in and did an excellent job.

They were creative and helpful in cing up with a solution.

Out the gutter were extremely professional in their approach and did a great job. Good value for the money.
