New Creation Design

We like Jay. He was very personable and he had good, creative ideas. He really guided us through the process of choosing everything, such as the tile, countertops, and whatnot. He had good design ideas and I felt confident that he saw and could do what I wanted him to do. What I wanted to do was kind of unusual. It took a little longer than I thought and I spent more than I thought it would be. We ended up with a couple of disappointments. Part of the project was putting bookshelves in when we pushed our bathroom out into the living room. When he installed the bookshelves, the backing is coming undone from one of them and is pulling off so if you push a book in the back will come off. He wasn?t willing to fix that. He blamed that on the bookshelf manufacturer, even though he assembled the bookshelves and the bookshelves were his idea. It would have been a pain to fix it because he would have to open up the wall. He didn?t want to do that, so it was disappointing. We like the bookshelves, but that?s not what his specialty is and it shows in the little things. We probably would have had to pay a lot more money to have someone who does bookshelves to have it be more perfect. Even though we were ultimately happy with it, it would have been nice if he had fixed the backing. Also, he put up the fixtures in our bathroom and just a few weeks later, one of them pulled down. We had a different drywall guy come in to repair the drywall, and he said they were improperly installed. Those were our only two complaints. Overall, I probably would have still used him if I did it again, but we were disappointed by those last few finishing touches. He is a pleasure to work with, and he has good ideas. However, you should probably keep him to the things he does best, which is bathrooms and tiles and not bookshelves. I really wish in his evaluation I could separate out him as a bathroom guy, and him as a general contractor. Within the scope of his abilities, which is bathrooms, he is a total A. Outside of that scope, he?s more of a B or C. He?s excellent at bathrooms.

They did an excellent job. I would absolutely use them again.

Jay Moceri was patient, attentive, and responsive. From the get-go, he presented us the cost, materials, and estimate involved with redoing our bathroom and provided a portfolio of his existing work to give us a great idea of our choices and suggestions for our bathroom. When it came to deciding all the choices involved in designing our bathroom, he was tremendously patient and professional in meeting us around at all the various suppliers to pick and choose our tile, sinks, flooring, lighting, cabinets, countertops, and plumbing options. Needless to say, I am an indecisive woman who took several weeks going back and forth on all the design options, but through it all, Jay remained patient, professional, and courteous to ensure we had the perfect bathroom design we wanted. After he started the demo and through mid-portions of the rebuild, he kept us apprised of his work and status. He was always open to us inspecting his work always ready to field any of our questions and also provided great suggestions when the angles of our older home didn?t line up just right with the angle of our tiles. The care and attention he paid to make sure that each and every tile is exactly even and the same distance from each other is amazing. He also planned and designed the lay out of all the tiles in the entire bathroom beforehand to ensure that there are minimum grout lines, _zero_ one-off/awkwardly cut tiles, and a cohesive look among all the tiles. After completion with the tiling and his designs, the shower and flooring all looked picture perfect and gave us the complete modern feeling to the bathroom we were hoping for. Of course, Jay also worked patiently with us to source our espresso cabinets, crema marfil countertop, custom mirrors, toto drake toilet, custom lightings, and then installed them for us. He also redid some of our electrical to add additional lighting, the result of which is a bright, inviting, and elegant bathroom. Jay was on-time and budget and always patient in explaining what needed to be done next. He was a friendly and consistently courteous contractor throughout the entire experience. We have been using the bathroom. There have been zero issues, with zero needs to call Jay back for problems nor complaints, even though Jay has been very responsive and always answers our question or pays us an in person visit almost right away every time we call him with a question. We will definitely look to Jay again when we begin work with our remaining two bathrooms.

Project went well and proceeded according to schedule. Jay handled all aspects of the project and installed the tub, shower and all tile work himself. There was a discrepency with a dimension of the vanity and it was handled immediately. The result is a custom designed master bath that is very comfortable and functional. He was very clean and made a difficult remodel bearable.

He did a good job. A single operator and does everything himself. He did outsource some of the electrical. Felt comfortable with him. Very polite and cooperative. He never got in our way and planned his activites around our lives. He was clean as well. His price came in below what I had expected to pay.

They were very professional and did an extremely good work. Their price was good and they were responsive and punctual.

We made an appointment for an estimate and he came on time. He gave us a written estimate and also gave us choices. He was true to his word till the end and was really careful with whatever he moved. He did an extremely professional job and his clean up was great.

Jay did a fantastic job. He did such a tremendous job on the first two bathrooms, we decided to have him do the last. He is very creative and did some masterful design and artwork with very intricate tile and countertop design. His price was very fair, he was quick to resolve all issues and he went over and above fixing some things that weren't even part of the project. We really didn't have a good feel for exactly what we wanted other than to re-do the bathrooms. After seeing multiple pictures of the many designs he did in the past, we formed some ideas. He then went on to create some designs based upon our conversation, and after we agreed to his concept, he went to work. He accompanied us to a few granite shops where we looked at many different styles. He was always patient and very helpful in helping us visualize the finished project. Once he went to work, he was very careful to keep the mess to a minimum, (sometimes that is almost impossible), and always cleaned up carefully after every day of work. This was a great experience. We now consider Jay a friend and would recommend him to anybody who expects to have a great experience with a remodel.

THE PROJECT WENT ACCORDING TO SCHEDULE. THE SUBS WERE VERY GOOD AND THEY SHOWED UP EVERY DAY THEY WERE EXPECTED AND WERE CLEAN. ADDITIONAL CHANGE ORDER FOR CUSTOM TILE WORK WAS PRICED REASONABLY AND THE FINAL PRODUCT IS A CUSTOM REMODEL.

We are simply delighted. The artistic layout and fabrication of the granite exceeded our expectations. New Creation Design owner, Jay Moceri is highly communicative, customer focused and demonstrates strong integrity. And highly reliable. We will be using him for our next project too!

Jay Moceri from New Creation Design had a lot to live up to, since he remodeled our other bathroom. But this one was even more difficult and it came out even better! It was a six-week project, but work was performed steadily every day. Our house is older, and Jay and his people worked to get the angles on the walls straight before laying down any tile. Then they used smart tile techniques to get it to look right even when it wasn't! Jay's subcontractors are absolutely the best - the tile setter Steve is especially outstanding. If I needed something changed, Jay never put up a fuss, just nicely followed my request. The project was done exactly to budget and on the schedule given to us up front. The workmanship is flawless and I am so happy with the look. Jay has great suggestions for the design and is especially skilled with tile. Jay is especially good at working with women, he really listens well. And he's a great Christian guy too.
