This was Molly Maids of Santa Clarita, not Merry Maids. Review was a phone solicitation from Angies List.
They did not do a good job. They skipped all the areas I wanted clean like window sills and the oven. Those are areas I specifically asked them to do and they did not do them. The price was okay. The quality and responsiveness was good but the professionalism was terrible. I will not use them again in the future.

Overall, I am unimpressed. I continue to use their service because even a little help with the heavy cleaning is better than no help. They were almost three hours late the first time, although on time since. They do not dust thoroughly; only (1) in (3) times they have serviced my home did they clean the top of the bookshelves. This afternoon my Henckel knives were in the sink. While they did "clean" them there were still smudges on ALL the knives. Today they made the master bedroom bed with the provided bedding putting a standard case on a king pillow INSIDE OUT and did not make (1) bed with provided bedding. Flooring corners are neglected. Smudges are left on the tile after mopping. A tub ring a week after they'd been here and the tub was only used twice. They did not vacuum my sofa as contracted. They also bring a rinky-dink vacuum; I asked them to use mine & they do. When we can afford to pay more for housecleaning we will not use this company any more. The proof is in the details!

THEY DID A TERRIBLE JOB AND WERE ONLY HERE TWO HOURS. AFTER THEY LEFT I NOTICED OUR KITCHEN FLOOR WAS STILL DIRTY, AS WELL AS THE COUNTER TOP. THE GLASS TABLE IN MY LIVINGROOM WAS STILL DIRTY, SO I DON'T KNOW IF THEY CLEANED ANYTHING.

THEY WERE AT MY HOUSE FOR ABOUT TWO AND A HALF HOURS. THEY SEEMED TO HAVE DONE A GOOD JOB. I DO WISH THAT HAD NOT TRIED SO HARD TO PUT THINGS AWAY. THEY DID A GOOD JOB WITH WHAT THEY HAD TO WORK WITH. THEY DID OFFER TO BRING THEIR OWN CLEANING MATERIALS.

YOU KNOW, I HAVE HAD HOUSE KEEPERS THAT DID A BETTER JOB. DIFFERENT TEAMS ARE BETTER THAN OTHERS. IT GOES THROUGH THE SAME PERSON BUT THE QUALITY DIFFERS BETWEEN TEAMS.
