Good and bad. Most of the work was done ok, but some notable exceptions included poor drywall work, average painting, and a very poor job on the garage door. On the positive side, contractor has a good design eye and contributed some good ideas for improving the look and functionality of the property. On the other hand, the contractor exceeded his role by authorizing work without always receiving owner prior approval. Contractor communicated poorly regarding time and costs for approved items, many of which came in far over initial estimates. This led to a number of billing disputes. Contractor refused to budge on most of the items in dispute. In the end the hassle of a legal dispute outweighed the value, so we just paid the bills and resolved not to do business with him again.
Description of Work: Major remodel of bathrooms and kitchen. Also painted outside of house, installed sprinklers and removed fence, installed tile flooring, cleaned up outside, repaired garage door, etc.
