We have a 99 year old home and could not salvage the floors. They gave us a quote, installed the flooring and toe moulding. They used great care to ensure no damage was done to the original baseboards and door casings. Prompt and professional. Minor disappointment: we removed a wall and there is a depression in the floor where they didn't completely level the subfloor.

Because I was doing the entire home, I requested and did receive all the lumber from a single run or lot. This, I believe, resulted in flooring with very few issues related to fitting the lumber together. It was Lumber Liquidators that noticed the first delivery from the manufacture was not all from the same run as I had requested and they re-ordered the lumber. I would again seek the professional advice from Lumber Liquidators regarding appropriate selection of the lumber for each type of foundation; they assisted in my selection of the 3/4" hardwood teak. I would again order the lumber well in advance of my anticipate install date.
Lumber Liquidators stored the lumber for us until we were ready to install. This was helpful since the kitchen remodel was prone to delays. They always responded quickly to questions from my husband and returned calls promptly.
The installers arrived on time each day and were mindful of the two small children who were often home during the install. They were patient as the entire family would often need to walk through work areas of the home while they were installing. They worked carefully and skillfully which I believe is key to installing hardwood flooring. In order to finish on time, they worked on Saturday. Regardless of the time, each day the installers cleaned up the work areas which included both inside and outside where they were sawing and safely stored their tools in a corner of the home or outside. The care the installers took to lay this floor in evident everywhere throughout the home.
