Lakeshore Gardening

Some plants do not grow well in the depleted soil around my house so it has been hit and miss to find out what works.  Ernesto experiments with different types of plants so we have had some successes - unfortunately they were plants i dont care for like lilies and plants that are mainly a bunch of fronds.  We haven't been as lucky with the ones I do like.  He did plant a lemon tree (fruit bearing) and an orange tree (fruit for one year, waiting for more) that i am happy with.  
My main tree is always trimmed and all the dead leaves are removed from plants.  He comes when I am at work but we will have to make time to discuss things to be planted next.  I was very pleased when he took it upon himself to repair a broken lock on a door to my garage.

This is typical of any gardener I hire the first few weeks are great and then they stop caring and it turns into how fast and how little can I get done. Really frustrating.

I plan on continueing to use his company, very happy customer!!

He did a good job. He is not terribly consistent about time. It is hard to get him out here. He does maintenance work for me, but I haven?t heard from him yet. He was supposed to call me to set up an appointment. Other than that he is fine. He seemed very knowledgeable and professional. The price was okay. He did a very good job with the cleanup and I liked him.

Ernesto called in the morning to reschedule to afternoon - fortunately I was avail - was preparing for party guests the next morning! He arrived late, but hit the ground running with his helper who stayed to help with the tree trimming. I hired Lakeshore to "make the yards look much better in 3-4 hours". And so it was. Ernesto walked me around the whole property to ask specifically about certain plants treatment, etc. He worked quickly & pruned the plants very nicely. He hustled to get as much done as possible and worked about 4hrs even after dark. He helped with other stuff, too, never complaining. Exterior light bulbs changed, scrubbed out my big ice chest, never stopping for a break even though I encouraged him to! He asked me to contact him again for more yard clean up & I will do that soon. I wasn't embarrassed the next day when my friends came over for my football party! We still have some work to do, but it looks much, much better ~ Thanks, Ernesto!

Lakeshore was totally knowledgeable. He was professional and punctual and went over everything I needed to know about my lawn. He was very easy-going and I have hired him to come and do lawn maintenance for me every week at a monthly rate. I think I am paying more than some friends I have talked to for their gardening service but I don't mind as good communication skills and professionalism are important to me.

It is still early on but I'm very happy so far.

They only had one review on Angieslist and it was a positive one, so I went ahead with them. They are responsive and very good at what they do. Their pricing is very reasonable and the quality of their work is good.

Lakeshore Gardening is my regular service. They come once a week and do everything from trimming my bushes to mowing the lawn. They have always done excellent job and keep the property looking beautiful. I would not use anyone else.
