DANJO VINYL WINDOWS & DOORS

If you've read my review of these guys on yelp, then there will be nothing new here. We still love our windows and doors.
We have had these windows for several months now, and I couldn't be happier.
It started with the initial quote/consultation. Unlike other companies we
were considering, the salesman showed up on time and ready to take
measurements. He was very professional and knowledgeable. At one point I
asked about inert gas filled windows. He said he would happy to do that,
but in our climate we don't need it. How many salesmen do you know who
would talk you out of something which would add extra expense?
Next came installation. We had to get HOA approval before we could go
through with it, so it took a bit longer to get the windows, but I can't
blame them for that. My wife was here when the windows were installed,
and they arrived on time. The windows were completely installed by the
time I came home from work. We had six windows and two sliding doors
installed on a two story townhouse. No problems with installation, and
the windows look great! They even installed a dog door on one of the
sliding doors, along with a dog door on the matching screen. On both
sliding screen doors they used a thicker screen material to prevent
tears from out dog and cat.
Now that we have them for a few months, I can tell a big difference from the old windows. We replaced
single pane aluminum windows with double pane vinyl. They slide sooo smoothly, and the insulation effect they provide is incredible.
If you are thinking about replacing your old windows, do it, and make sure to use Danjo!

Salesman was great. no gimmicks. A straight fixed price per window and fixed install price per window. If you order 8 windows they dont even care about measurements - they just say it averages out:
8 x $xx window-price plus 8 x $$yy installation = $total price (50% due with order, 50% due after installation)
The windows are American made (in Santa Ana) and the company have been around for 13 years so that gives me some confidence in their warranty. I put in my order and 50% deposit and had to wait a few weeks until the windows were ready. The installers were great with a couple of caveats. They were in and out in about 5 hours for 2 doors and 6 windows.
Overall we recommend this company.

I am quite impressed with their company, personnel and product.

The salesman at the showroom was very professional and knowledgable. We met with and he explained all the options. Then he came out to our home to take measurements and go through he various options. I priced similar doors from other companies, and these were the least expensive with the same great look. We ordered the doors and had them ready in custom sizes in about 6 weeks. The installers were a little "rough" (i.e., they would take lunch breaks and use our microwave without asking, roam around the house looking for bathrooms, etc), but they did a good job. However, I had to have them come out again when the city inspector would not approve the flashing they used (too thin according to the inspector). They did come out the very next day with better flashing and re-did that portion of the job for no extra cost.

I chose this company for two reasons. 1) It manufactures locally--supports the local economy; and 2) the windows it makes has most of the features and warranty of the high-end windows we liked for the price of the low-end windows. Everyone from the owner to the people who installed the windows seems motivated and happy which inspires confidence. The windows were delivered ahead of schedule. Installers came earlier then expected. The work was clean. I'd recommend them with only one caution. The company has recently changed its name from sauerkraut to Danjo, be sure to check that it has the right license and insurance.
