CAZ Designs

Carolyn is a gifted designer and manager. She took charge of our project from measuring, blueprints, selection of materials, appliances, permitting. She managed her expert contractors through the construction and installation processes. Our kitchen, living room and balcony are designed with indoor/outdoor living and greatly enhanced views, including the use of LaCantina Door Panels and custom windows. Just started...

We had such a great experience with Carolyn that we are hiring her back for more remodeling. She worked well with us, listened to our needs and wants as well as offered great suggestions for us to consider. Everything planned out well with just a few days past projected timeline that wasn't her fault. Just took a little longer to get the color we wanted for cabinets. Well worth the expense to get the expertise.

Making the decision to work with Carolyn was absolutely the best decision we made at the beginning of our kitchen remodel. She got what we were looking for from the start. She was able to bring together a terrific team to bring the vision to fruition. When I was concerned we would never find counter tops or flooring, she made it look easy. I had looked at hundred of flooring choices and everything was wrong. Carolyn had even brought us a bunch and they just didn't work. She then brought one that everyone but me loved. I kept looking, all the while her latest choice was sitting on our floor and more people fell in love with it. She finally said to me, you have have to trust me, and I'm so glad I did. It's such a beautiful choice and a centerpiece of the kitchen. Our counter tops are absolutely perfect too! By working with Carolyn we were able to front load our project (stage everything on site) and finish on time. I never had to worry if we were on track, because she managed the process from beginning to end. She was always available for questions, new ideas, and even the occasional freak outs :) We finished just a day or two before Thanksgiving and we were thrilled to share the new kitchen with our friends and family. They love it as much as we do! If you are thinking of starting a project, I definitely recommend working with Carolyn!

Everything was wonderful.

Carolyn is a true professional, she made what could have been a stressful time enjoyable! Her knowledge of construction, materials and finishes shined as she made our vision come to life. She worked to find pricing solutions along the way, not everything needs to be gold plated. Surprisingly, our home remodel finished on time and at the budget price agreed to. What a nice change of pace! We will definitely use CAZ Designs as we tackle our next project.

Working with Carolyn was a wonderful experience. She is very helpful, efficient and certainly knows about all aspects of the design business. Our project was finished on time and within budget. I did write a review of CAZ Designs about three weeks ago, but even after Home Advisor called me regarding my review . . . it still is not posted. Here is a brief summary. We hired CAZ Designs (Carolyn Zaner) to do approximately $120,000 remodel/design of our 1200sq. foot condo. We relied upon the other reviews, and were totally disappointed. We live in Arizona and this remodel was for our summer home in Laguna Woods Village, CA. Bad subcontractors, poor quality of window coverings, will have to remake several of them. We approved the fabric, but Carolyn chose a low quality fabricator.

We really have enjoyed working with Carolyn of CAZ Designs, Inc. for our master bedroom project. She has been extremely flexible working within our limited budget, extremely prompt and sensitive to our needs. We will definitely use her again for future projects!

Carolyn is very good at seeing the end project and helping us to visualize what it would look like. She's also very good at calming our fears when we are delving into areas that we're uncertain with, and she helps us talk through and work through the issue so that we feel comfortable with the plans that we've agreed upon. She has been a real godsend.

Carolyn Zainer of CAZ Designs has great vision and design sense, which we lack. After the initial meeting to find our needs, likes, and dislikes she provided many ideas for our review. She is not strict in her selections, but rather works around and offers additional suggestions. She is open and additional ideas just flow. She is very upfront about detail and kept us informed of progress. The entire process was pretty painless and saved us time from trying to design something ourselves, do the shopping, and making decisions with which we were uncomfortable. We would certainly recommend CAZ Designs to anyone. She is very personable also.

Carolyn is terrrific. She is very professional, always on time and well prepared. I needed her to lead me through what I needed to do, not ask me what I thought, and she was super at taking the lead. Of course, if I had an opinion she listned but she is an expert with a great eye for how the end product will come together. I am extremely satisfied with the colors, fabrics, furniture and accessories she selected. I will definitely work with her again. Plus, she is very nice and fun to work with.

Carolyn is the BEST! She listened to our needs, wants, and desires, then designed the most beautiful space for our family room to fit our budget. She was so patient with my husband who didn't really know what he wanted. She is thoroughly professional, was right on top of things and helped with everything - down to the littlest details. If you are looking for someone to do an interior design project - BIG or SMALL - she is the one you should call. Her prices are so reasonable and she goes above and beyond. Very Professional and easy to work with. Carolyn is both extremely creative and efficient. She provided us with excellent ongoing information about the project's progress and costs. She spent a huge amount of time on the initial proposal and the result of that was that we entered into the work phase feeling confident about the success of the outcome. Am still using her for phase 2 of my remodel. Carolyn is an amazing designer and project manager. She redesigned and managed the entire remodel of my townhome on time and on-budget. She responed to my every need with a positive attitude. The contractors she used, specifically the general contractor was great. I would HIGHLY recommend her to a friend, family member or collegue.

Carolyn Zainer understood and followed through on giving us design ideas. She did so with great enthusiasm and gave as much detail as we asked for. She even followed up with what she said she would do by emailing some examples of her work which illustrated the suggestions she gave. She has since then been in email contact to answer some questions. I am very satisfied with CAZ Designs.

We are in processes of working out all the fine details. Carolyn is very good at understanding your personal needs. She is quick to respond with a plan. She is prompt for appointments, returns all her phone calls in a very timely manner. She is fun and pleasant to work with. I plan to use Carolyn for future room make-overs.
