Battres Construction

I love them, I was always able to count on them and they did a wonderful job. I mainly worked with Cesar, Rafael and Martin and they were amazing.

We were really anxious about picking the “right“ construction company to do our major remodel on our home. We had seen their work on a couple of our friend’s homes and loved it, but after finding out they are on the show Flip or Flop we weren’t sure if we would be put ‘on the back burner’. That was not the case at all and I’m so glad we decided on Battres after interviewing other construction companies. We took our time and never felt rushed with their ‘design-to-build’ process. We were nervous hearing from so many other people’s stories regarding contractors (not Battres) not showing up when they say they are but that was never once the case with Battres. Our project took about 3 1/2 months and that was about the time frame they gave us when we first started. We will definitely be using them for the 2nd stage of our home remodel when that time comes. They stayed on budget with what was originally quoted. The project ended up costing more but that’s because we decided to upgrade or change things around...there were never any pricing ‘surprises’.

Can't say enough to express how pleased I am with Battres Construction and how their work far exceeded my expectations.  I have dealt with many other contractors and must say they are tops.  Their goal is to make the customer have a good experience and they exceed in that.  From the first contact I was very impressed.  They were so dependable and punctual.  Communication was excellent.  I was informed of the progress at every stage, who was working that day and what they would do.  They always introduced the workers.  Each craft knew exactly what they were going to do.  They forged ahead to get the work done and it was on schedule.  Quality of workmanship was excellent  Enrique Diaz worked hard at coordinating the entire project and insured each of crafts completed their work on schedule.  He juggled their schedules so that everything fell  seamlessly in place.  He was my main contact and communication.  He made sure everything was tidied up at the end of each day.  The men worked continuously and only stopped to take a lunch.  They took their full lunch and promply went back to work.
Cesar Villa and Sammy Battres were invaluable in answering my many, many questions.  They offered excellent suggestions. Battres does quality work.  They aren't the lowest bidder but offer good value for their price.  I got lower bids but if you look carefully and compare carefully the low price doesn't include what Battres does.  Some things are sink, faucet, knobs, paint, garbage disposal.  There were no hidden costs or surprises that came up later.  Thankfully there were no hidden problems like existing mold, things not up to code etc.  It was a big project for them and me.  They made it as painless as  possible.  They even had professional house cleaners clean the rooms they worked in as the scope of the project
produces a lot of dust.  They were excellent as well and reduced my workload tremendously. 
It was an added bonus I wasn?t expecting. After the job was complete I wasn't happy with the way some cabinet doors made contact and was afraid I would end up with unsightly dents on my new cabinets.  Sammy went over and beyond to find a solution and remedy my problem.  
Original cost estimate was on target.  Two additional charges which were not originally included were painting the living and dining room and a wood top for the pony wall.  The entire project took 5 weeks.
