This shop is one of those and quot;old schooland quot; places that is in an old light industrial part of Santa Ana and appears to be a family run business, with two brothers running it. Both brothers I dealt with were super friendly and helpful, the older offering all sorts of technical details to help me make my decisions on construction. They do not the actual upholstery in house, but send it out. Took all of two days, but spanned my weekend end, so three total.



|They carry an array of discount upholstery to use for your project in addition to standard material to order, which is much more expensive, as it is everywhere else. Mine was a small project and it would have cost me far more time and effort at a similar price to gather the materials and sew it myself, so this shop was super convenient and a real pleasure to deal with.



|Parking is odd and cramped, when available, so beware if you have a larger vehicle (sort of a drive thru/under between two buildings' shops. I just parked at the Jack in the Box, which could have gotten me towed I suppose, if anyone had cared.



|Otherwise, my cushions turned out great and I would highly recommend these folks. Just be prepared for a more old-style experience than a chain establishment, but the savings and service are worth it, especially if you can find something in their discounted fabrics.

Quality was excellent with sufficient foam for comfort. Unlike the store bought cusions that you can feel the bottom of the chair. They also included zippers so the cushion foam could be removed to wash the fabric. Please note the company does not take credit cards, check or cash only.

They were good and efficient. They were reasonably priced. The price was in line. They were good enough to recommend.

THE SHOP IS SMALL, BUT BUSY WITH MANY PIECES OF WORK IN PROGRESS. WORKERS SPEAK BOTH SPANISH AND ENGLISH, GIVE ADVICE AND LISTEN TO CUSTOMER SUGGESTIONS. FINISHED WORK IS OF EXCELLENT QUALITY, SEAMS TIGHT AND DETAILS FINELY FINISHED.
