Our shop is committed to offering customers helpful information and great service, even following up on their vehicle performance after we work on it. As a customer-orientated shop, you can trust us to find the most effective, efficient solution for your car troubles. We are also the only shop in Danville and San Ramon to be certified by the State of California, allowing us to perform smog repairs under the Consumer Assistance Program. History: In 1987, Chevron lost their ground lease. The station was bulldozed and Walt retired. The landowner leases the property to Jiffy Lube who approached me with an attractive offer to manage their business at our old location which is still in operation today. They didn't make me an offer I couldn't refuse. I felt that with 17 years invested, I couldn't let the family business die. With nowhere else to go, to buy time, I signed a short-term lease and took over two of the three service bays at the Mobil station on Diablo Road. Next move... signed lease with Shell Oil and took over the 3 bay service station around the corner. Once again I was back in business and hired two more technicians. After a short time, I was running out of room again. Next move... San Ramon, 5 bay shop located across the street from The Brass Door restaurant. Business continued to grow for the next 5 years. I started looking around again. Spring 1996, found an empty building twice the size that needed a lot of improvements to make it functional for automotive. I needed the more room to expand again. Keeping the other shop open, I took the risk and started improvements at the new location. I sandblasted and rolled the floor with epoxy paint, had 8 lifts installed, built the office and installed bathrooms, windows, doors, new lights, electrical outlets, air lines, a new compressor room and a few other things. A month later we were in business at our new digs. Starting from a two bay service station, I kept the faith and never looked back. It hasn't been an easy journey, but with all the hard work and when situations appear impossible, dreams can come true. Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Saturday - Sunday Closed. Resolved a long-term gas mileage problem on my 2005 Murano that no one at Nissan or other shops seem to be able to resolve. After several parts replacements and endless discussions I decided a performance engine expert was the only group capable of finding a solution. It turns out the standard engine verification software and ODBII readings used for smog inspections does not measure ALL the inputs and was providing a passing grade even with a problem. Walt's Danville Service had the technical expertise to analyze the engine management system and identify the problem. Walt Macor and his crew has more than 20 years of experience in repairing computer controlled engines. A key to resolving the problem was Walt's commitment and persistence to identifying the problem. The final solution was a faulty Air Flow Sensor. End of the day and an Air Flow Sensor replacement, PROBLEM SOLVED...I strongly recommend you give Walt a call if you have a problem that no one seems to be able to resolve. We have 5 cars for 5 drivers and Wally keep all of our cars running smoothly!
Description of Work: Wally has done all the work on all of our cars for years. He is honest and reliable. I'm not sure that he is the least expensive but I know he's not making up additional things that need to be done so I'm sure in the long run I come out ahead money wise. I think a good, honest mechanic is a great value, and Wally is just that.

Walt is an excellent guy, and he does a very good job. He is very reliable, good, punctual, and he provides good service. He checks everything and keeps my car running.
Description of Work: I use Walt's Danville Service for my car maintenance. They take care of the engine, change the oil and those sorts of things. I had last been there to get the oil changed.
