He quickly responded to my request. He was prompt, courteous , competent and professional. He did a great job with a clogged vent. I would definitely hire him again.

James Zierolf was extremely professional with a great attitude. He also did an excellent job cleaning and de-funking our air ducts. He quickly located a dead rodent in our heater that was causing the bad smell. He removed it, sanitized the surroundings and cleaned out the entire duct system in a thorough and efficient manner. His price was quite reasonable with no surprise elements.
Here is another testament to his professionalism. He came on 11/13 to do the job but had to leave abruptly due to a family emergency. He was extremely apologetic (although he had no reason to be, we completely understood!) and promptly came around the next day and finished the job to our complete satisfaction. All in all, we will not hesitate to contract his services again.

Bought the big deal to clean my air ducts. Did the job. Was professional and responsive. I gave a N/A for quality as I don't know how you tell if they did a good job. Have family with allergies so try to keep the dust etc cleaned. So seemed to do good job.

What a difference! Our home smells much better and we can breathe easier.

The work was done well and without any fuss and bother. Very professional. We will call James as TASK next time we need the vents and ducts cleaned.

Prior to scheduling an appointment with Mr. Zierolf I explained that the vents of our home were producing a great deal of dust and that the vents had not been cleaned in a long time.  He quoted a price and based on other Angie's List reviews, decided to go with TASK.  Mr. Zierolf showed up on time and was very personable.  His machine was on for 3 hours.  When he was done Mr. Zierolf proudly showed us the filter that had the dust that had been removed.  There was one small section of the filter that had a good amount of dust on it, the remainder of the filer was almost white??  When I saw the small amount of dust produced after 3 hours... I said "is that it??"  Mr. Zierolf replied that he had done some cleaning himself.  The cleaning included removing and washing off our floor vents with water and 'cleaning' our dryer (which we had recently had done).  Our house is now filled with dust again.  His efforts produced minimal results.  I feel like I just threw $300 away.  Nice gentleman, service not so nice.

Very personable, friendly and definitely willing to go the extra mile! I will definitely call them again next year.

The owner was punctual and was professional for the most part.  He told me that my home was more of a commerical job than a residential job but he found a way to make it work.  I appreciated that greatly however afterwards I found my ducts were not that clean and that the final result could have been better.

Service purchased through The Big Deal.  My rating of the price is based on affordability, not a comparison of other vendors.  Co-owner, James Zierolf and his assistant, Justin (?) performed the work.  Mr. Zierolf was a pleasure to work with from scheduling to job completion. As I greeted Mr. Zierolf, he apologized for being late. I appreciated the courtesy of his apology, but I did not consider him "late" because of my past experience with service providers trying to finish with one customer so they can get to the next; he was within the "zone" of our agreed arrival time.
I was impressed with his knowledge of the duct-ways of this older home because upon entry, he immediatley told me how he was going to tackle the job.  He explained what he was going to do, and how he was going to do it.  When I showed interest in their equipment, Mr. Zierolf explained how air flow rate and duct diameter factor in efficient cleaning of the ducts.  (It was obviously more detailed than that.)  In other words, when this customer had a question, there was no hesitation to provide an clear responsive answer.
He and Justin took great care to cover the carpet and floors near the central unit (indoor location) and under each vent.  Before going into the bedrooms, they asked permission (even though permission had already been given).  I appreciated this courtesy.   When the job was completed, and the equipment and drop clothes were packed on the truck, Mr. Zierolf did a walk through to ensure they left the areas clean. 
Mr. Zierolf and Justin were courteous, professional and effecient!  I am pleased the service they provided.

The gentleman took a lot of time explaining they systems to me, and I was very pleased with him. The owner himself, I believe came out for me, and we are fine. I thought he was great. He gave the kind of information a person needs to know.

The crew arrived on schedule, did the work promptly and efficiently, kept the place clean while working so when they left,  there was no dust or dirt.  The crew was cheerful and polite.

Some miscommunication about the dates, but when they arrived, they were polite, efficient and did a good job overall. Highly recommend them. Their process doesn't use any chemicals, so I don't have to worry about any residue that might bother me.
