Diablo Valley Cabinetry

Do NOT use Diablo Valley Cabinetry, our entire experience has been awful from the day the cabinets were delivered to now as we continue to wait for proper replacement parts. The customer service has been as bad as the quality of their products. As we paid when the cabinets were delivered, before they were taken out fo the boxes, we have no recourse and they could care less. We chose to purchase cabinets through them because we believed them to sell quality products that we would have for years to come in our new kitchen and we wanted to support small local business. We viewed samples in their showroom and were pleased by the finishes available and craftsmanship. What we have received is anything but quality and pushed our job back for weeks. -The wrong sink base was shipped which prevented countertops from being installed until the correct one arrived almost 3 weeks later. -Almost every upper cabinet door, in linen, had to be replaced due to either uneven paint or paint missing ALL together, as in the case of one of the finishing framing pieces, or had bubbles/pimples or lines on the door. Replacement doors took over 3 weeks to receieve and what was sent had the same issues as the first round of doors. We are now waiting on a 3rd round of doors to be shipped -As installation progressed my contractor pointed out that absolutely NO toe kick shipped with the order, nor did a touch up kit with the corresponding cabinet paint. We were charged and paid for items we didn't receive. -Our contractor then went to install the range hood but could not as the metal piece that sits down on top of the hood did not fit, not even close. How the metal was not properly cut to fit is beyond me. Took 3 weeks to receieve the correct part. There has been a complete lack in sense of urgency for any of this to be rectified. All of these issues were mistakes on their part and we are still dealing with the mess. It took the owner of the company over 4 weeks to reach out about the issue and when he did there was no appology and all he could say was, "I don't have an answer to that question." On top of all this we had to pay the dump fee to get rid of all the unusable cabinet doors. Save your time and money and go to Home Depot or Lowes.

It was one stop, do it all, and the service was great. The work is beautiful and I have had no problems with it at all. It took a few visits to get the right design, but I'm so pleased with the work.

The very helpful sales representative assisted with selection of the cabinet style and features after listening to my wants and desires for kitchen cabinets. I made a couple of visits to their showroom and was impressed with their selection and presentation. I decided on cabinets from and quot;Cabinetry by Diamondand quot;, including an upgraded all-plywood construction and two lazy susans for the corner cabinets one of which was a large size and quot;super-susanand quot;. Cabinet doors were the self-closing type. One of the cabinets also featured easy access slide-out shelves for large pots and pans.
Before ordering the cabinets, the sales rep made a trip out to my house to take the final measurements. It took about 3 weeks to receive the finished cabinets from the manufacturer. During that time, my contractor removed my old cabinets and prepared my kitchen for the new ones. The cabinets came securely packed in cardboard boxes and were carried into my home by the delivery people without any extra charge. My contractor was able to install the cabinets within a few days without any problems.
Although my order was relatively small and uncomplicated due to the small size of my kitchen, I feel that I got a good deal and would gladly recommend Diablo Valley Cabinetry to my friends and neighbors.

I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE WORK FROM DVC. THEY WERE KNOWLEDGEABLE AND PROFESSIONAL. I FEEL I GOT GOOD PRICING AS WELL AS HIGH QUALITY CABINETS. THEY WERE NOT PUSHY AND WORKED TO MEET ALL OUR DEMANDS AND NEEDS.
