One of our electrical circiuts was not working. I flipped the circuit breaker but that didn't fix it. We thought the fuse must be bad. My husband was not able to get the fuse out to replace it, so we had to call an electrician. It turns out the only thing wrong was the GFI protector has been tripped and it needed to be reset. That means pushing a little button on the outlet. I had no idea there was such a thing. The technician himself was excellent. Super nice, professional, knowledgeable, etc. When he was done he told me he didn't think he would have to charge me since he didn't do anything. But when he called the owner - Ronaldo - he said I had to pay for a service call. The technician had stopped on the way and purchased a replacement fuse and now had to go return it since it wasn't needed and therefore it was a $125 service call. On the phone, Ronaldo had said a technician would come here first and look at it and then go out and buy the part. Instead, I paid $125 for a very expensive lesson in GFI. I understand paying something just for gas and maybe 30 minutes of someone's time. But I think charging for the full sevice call is ridiculous. So for the grading, I would give the technician an A in professionalism and the owner an F, which averages out to a C. Also, I did say I would use this company again, but really, I wish I had a choice that said Maybe. If I had a big job and this company had a competitve bid, I would MAYBE overlook this experience and try this company again. But since the whole experience leaves a bad taste in my mouth, probably not.

Excellent. SOS came out right away, identified the problems promptly and repaired at a reasonable price. Very courteous and professional. I recommend very highly and will use again.

They were excellent. It wasn't cheap but they did good work. The technician that came out was professional. He explained what he was doing and what was going on.

SOS was willing to set up an appointment within a few days (as opposed to weeks) and they showed up on time. We explained the problem with electrical fluctuations. After taking a look at our junction box, they concluded the problem was not with our electrical system, but in the service from our gas/electric company. They called the gas/electric company directly and had them come out to fix the problem within about 24 hours. Afterward, they followed up to make sure everything was working properly. Everything went smoothly and they didn't even charge us. Normally I'd expect at least $50 just to get an electrician to show up at the door and troubleshoot a problem. We were very pleased with the service.

He did a very good job. He wound up doing more than I expected and I was very pleased with his work. He was very accommodating in regards to scheduling and I would definitely use him again.

Ronaldo was great. He fixed the problem right away. He was 45 minutes late, but discounted his service fee as an apology. A screw was also lost in the process and could not be found. He said that he would drop another by the next day to replace it and it was there the next day. We plan to use him for another job this coming week.

The work was done more quickly and an lower cost than estimated. SOS is very thorough and works carefully.
