EFRAIN'S LANDSCAPE CONSTRUCTION

I bought my house in November - 2016 that has 6 trees. It appeared that they had not been cut for quite some time. In the spring of 2017 I was referred to by a contractor who had done work for him, so I agreed to have Efrain come over and provide an estimate. I was quoted $2,100.00 to cut/shape 6 trees. I expressed my concerns to Efrain that I wanted all the tree branches cut off and shaped. Efrain told me he had done these trees before long time ago. He said the couldn't trim them as much as I wanted because it would kill them, There were 4-5 workers that cut the trees, which only took about 30 minutes. When they finished I did look at their work; it looked okay to me (no more branches resting on the shed roof or wires), but I'm not a tree expert either. Since then I still see and have dead branches hanging/falling out of the trees, which could have hurt someone. I disagree with his decision now that I'm more aware of tree trimming. I referred him to a friend that lives in Concord and she also was very disappointed with his work. I would not recommend him to anyone. Regards

Work went smooth but felt the price was excessive

EFRAIN'S LANDSCAPE CONSTRUCTION assessed the problem and gave a quite reasonable bid. I agreed with the work proposed. He and his crew were over the next day and had everything working by the end of the day. He came back to check with my satisfaction and made some tweeks where a few shrubs needed more attention. He also installed a water shut-off value where none had existed before.

Efrain was on time, on budget, and was very attentive to my needs on the project. He came back periodically to check the drainage issue with all the rain that has occurred this year.

Very professional company, super responsive and conscientious. It was an expensive project but well worth the price. Efrain kept checking up on us throughout the following rainy season.

Terrible. I had asked him to do some sprinkler work including putting in two extra sprinkler heads.  I did not get a quote as I had used him in the past.  It turned out his rate was $80/hr.  He used a day laborer who spoke no English.  He used very few power tools and therefore the job took twice as long.  I was obviously very dismayed as a portion of the work I could have done myself.  He also checked out my sprinkler system in the backyard and did a few repairs and charged me $800.00.  I was taken for a sucker.  Never again.  Stay away from this landscaper.
