 + -1 moreWAS TOLD THAT THE SALES ASSOCIATE, PHILIPE WAS BUSY WITH A CUSTOMER. CRAIG THE OWNER CALLED BACK, DOUBLED THE PRICE, & WHEN I QUESTIONED THAT HE TOLD ME THAT THE $26 PRICE WAS BEFORE HE KNEW THE NUMBER. THE CORRECT TOILET SEAT WAS ALMOST DOUBLE THE PRICE. I WAS TOLD BY THE OTHER ASSOCIATE THAT THERE WAS ONLY 2 TYPES, ONE ELONGATED & THE OTHER ROUND SO I ASKED HIM WHAT THE DIMENSIONS WERE OF THE 1st TOILET SEAT THAT I HAD BEEN GIVEN. AT THAT POINT, HE REFUSED TO WORK WITH ME AND TOLD ME TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE & THAT HE WAS NOT COMFORTABLE WORKING WITH ME. I WAS SHOCKED & KIND OF ACCUSED HIM OF ONLY WANTING TO WORK WITH EXPENSIVE FIXTURES AND NOT WANTING TO DEAL WITH SOMETHING MINOR. I WOUND UP CALLING ANOTHER CO, I HAD ALREADY LOOKED UP THE TOILET SEAT, & SHE TOLD ME THAT THE NUMBER WAS THE NUMBER FOR THE TOILET BOWL. SHE ALSO TOLD ME THAT THERE WERE NUMEROUS TYPES OF TOILET SEATS THAT FIT THAT BOWL AT VARYING PRICE RANGES. I ENDED UP PAYING $26.25 FOR THE TOILET SEAT FROM THE OTHER CO.
Description of Work: CALLED ABOUT 4 OR 5 DAYS EARLIER, LEFT A MESSAGE, AND THEY NEVER CALLED BACK. I LET THEM KNOW THIS WHEN I WENT INTO THE SHOWROOM, AND PHILIPE WAS VERY APOLOGETIC. WENT TO THE SHOWROOM, SPENT A FAIR AMOUNT OF TIME WAITING FOR THE GUY TO HELP ME. I BROUGHT THE TOILET SEAT IN THAT WAS BROKEN. IT DID NOT HAVE ANY NUMBERS, SO HE LOOKED UP THE TOILET SEAT AND HE GAVE ME A LITTLE CHIP TO MAKE SURE THAT IT MATCHED AND GAVE ME A PRICE OF $26.00. HE SAID THAT HE DID NOT HAVE IT IN HIS WAREHOUSE AND SO IF THEY HAVE TO ORDER IT IT CAN TAKE 4 TO 6 WKS. THEN HE SAID THAT HE WOULD CHECK IN THE MORNING, BECAUSE THE WAREHOUSES WERE CLOSED, TO SEE IF ANY OF THE OTHER WAREHOUSES HAD THE TOILET SEAT BECAUSE I COULD HAVE IT IN A FEW DAYS. HE ALSO ASKED ME TO GO HOME AND LOOK UP THE NUMBERS UNDER THE TANK WITH A K. I TOLD HIM I WOULD AND THAT I WOULD LEAVE A MESSAGE. SAID THAT HE WOULD CALL ME AROUND 10 AM THE NEXT DAY TO LET ME KNOW IF HE FOUND THE TOILET COVER. HE DID NOT CALL. I CALLED AROUND 10:50.
