They were the second highest from the other quotes I looked up.

They were very good about returning my call. They have been around since 1959. I found their number and things at a trade show where they were promoting their business. I have not used them so I cannot vouch for them whether they are good or not. Their bid came in right in the middle. They were not super cheap and were not the most expensive. The man who came out was on time. They are amongst the ones that we are considering to use.

Used the 10% discount as the incentive to finally get a major paint job done after a big construction project last year. Called and was immediately called back by John Busick. He came out, gave me a quote which never changed even though the work was probably a little more labor intensive than he planned. The only upcharge was $100 for the interior of a hall cabinet/closet which was a great price for the amount of work.
The job encompassed a large L shaped hallway, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, all the ceilings, doors and trim.

On a dark and stormy morning last year, I was horrified to find giant
water-filled bulges in the ceilings of both our kitchen and the half
bath off it. We had the faulty vent flange corrected immediately, but
procrastinated on the drywall and paint repairs, not wanting the hassle
of having our kitchen out of commission for days with two young kids.
Finally, with a refi assessment looming, it couldn't be ignored any
longer.
Our queries for an estimate were answered promptly.
Luckily, the damage beneath the buckled paint turned out to be much less
than expected, and the fix only involved superficial surface repair.
The team was punctual both days that they were here, and extremely
efficient and courteous. The textured finish and paint is fantastic, and
even on close inspection, you can't really tell that it was ever
repaired.
We will be contacting them Kunst the future for any painting needs we might have.

The painters as usual were very profesional and we were pleased with the work.We have used Bob Kunst painting for the past 10 years after some bad experiences with other painters.Mike is an honest person and does his best to accomodate his customers.I called today for more painting on bathroom ceilings etc.

They did a great job. They were exceedingly thorough. They scraped and prepped for three days before they started painting. Everything when they were done was completely clean. Their price was good and accurate.

Job took 2 days with a crew of two. Arrived on time each day. Crew was very experienced and professional. Extensive prep work was done, fiurniture moved and wrapped in plastic, and moved back after clean up.. While you may find work cheaper, it would be d
ifficult to match the quality of their work. We will use them again. Tom Kunst checked on the crew's progress and did a final walk-thru with us.

The estimate was free. The experience was great. They were really professional and experienced. When we asked them to do extra things along the way, they were very willing. It's a long-standing family business, and I like that.

They did an *excellent* job. I was happy with every aspect -- the workmen were prompt, professional and respectful. They took care of my house and left it in excellent condition. They also saw a couple things that needed to be done (patching a hole where a cable wire had been) and just fixed them so that it all looked great. I was at first surprised at the price -- but it was worth every penny.

Oh, I almost forgot. In addition, I thought they were extremely fair. They gave me a quote to do 3 coats of paint. However, after 3 it still needed another one and they gave me a discount on putting the 4th coat on.

He had very high ratings. I showed him that my kitchen cabinets looked aged a lot. He explained how they could clean them and apply another finish to them to make them look like new. He did that and it looks great. There was a stain and scratches on an antique piano. He had his man match that color of the stain on the piano with the scratches so that we can’t even see them. This was all a bonus and I wasn’t charged for it. He was experienced. He understood not just how to paint, but how to stain cabinets as well. I am going to ask him to paint the exterior of my house.

I have been dealing with them for about 4 to 5 years now. I have had other painters come in and I have been unhappy with their job, but Bob Kunst does an excellent job. I am a perfectionist and I am happy when they leave no matter what the cost is because they do it correctly. It’s also done to my satisfaction. You will not find bumps on the wall. They fix whatever I tell them to fix. I survey when the job is done and it gets done the way I want it done. They always do a good job and they do a job that I am happy with. If I am not happy, then I tell them and they fix it. I want the job done perfectly. They aren’t cheap. They pay union wages and insurance and so they aren’t inexpensive. They are not the lowest and they may not be the highest too. I haven’t had many estimates. I am sure I could have done the job for a lot less, but I probably wouldn’t have liked the job. They are union painters and so they are artisans. They are not guys who are picked up from the street to paint. It took them 5 days to get the job done. They weren’t here on one day. They started the work on last Thursday and finished it today. They are very responsive and it also depends on how much work they have got. They are a busy company. The time they might take to get to your house may vary if it’s a busy season. If you call Mike who is Bob Kunst's son-in-law, then he speak to you. He will respond within a few hours or almost immediately. The painter who did the job was here every morning at 8 o’clock for the last 6 days. He usually was outside at 7:45, but he used to knock at our door at 8 o’clock. They are very professional. Mike does a good job. He also helps in selecting the paint colors and gives suggestions. He is willing to put splotches of paint on the wall so that you could look at it before he paints the whole wall. He will work with you as far as the colors are concerned if you are not sure what color you want. It’s worth getting the job done by them. They are very good at what they do. They don’t try to get in and out within a day or two. There were two guys on one day and one guy for the rest of the days. They were very good, pleasant and nice. Mike is a good guy and he is trustworthy. They are honest and they do a good job. I will hire them again.

He did excellent work and he was professional. I think he is competitive and the employees are excellent.

Prompt and professionally done from start to finish.

They paid a lot of attention to detail. I was amazed at some of the things they did that I didn't expect. Little things like painting the pipes and skylight frames on the roof. The quality of the work was excellent.
