SAN PEDRO LOCK & KEY

This is the third time I have used this company, and they have always been punctual and done an excellent job. We hired them to rekey our first residence a few years ago, and so they were the logical choice for our new home. I have also visited their storefront in San Pedro, where they have been able to duplicate keys that our local home improvement warehouse had been unable to do correctly. Friendly service!

The initial service was fine. Later on, however, I found that two of the extra keys they had cut did not work. I took these keys - which were imprinted with the business name and phone number - to get replacements, visiting one of their store-front locations. Not only would they not replace the keys, they would not give me a refund since I did not have paperwork - when I was holding two keys in my hand imprinted with their business name and phone number. They did not offer me an in-kind trade for creating new keys, and had the nerve to suggest - after I showed them my license (with photo) - that they couldn't be sure I was who I was, or that I had actually bought the keys from them. This kind of attitude is really intolerable. I will never do business with these bungling bureaucrats again, and am filing this report in hopes it will encourage others to avoid them.
