It went as good as it can get. Rudy came in, asked about the symptoms and needs and got right into it. Adjusted the springs so the door is now safe. I asked for and he added a keypad to open the door as a backup. He inspected, lubricated and tightened everything he could. He appraised the opener and said I could update at any time - it was due, but okay for now as I will be doing work soon that will have it come down anyway. And finally he helped me program my car - which I just could not get myself. The charges were fair and I plan to always call Rudy for service.

They had to come out twice but didn't charge anything for second visit. Charge for first visit was reasonable. Would definitely call them again. Prices much lower than other garage door service companies.

Rudy took the call late on a Saturday afternoon. Was over within 30 minutes. Roll up garage door cable came off pulley and wedged itself into a closed position. Had to climb into garage through window to fix. After addressing the pulley and cable, he also aligned the springs and tensions. 
This is our second use of San Pedro Garage doors and both times have been terrific. I would recommend them to any and all.

They were great. The guy was on time. He took care of the problem. He was professional. He had to come back twice because he didn't have enough wire or line or something like that. He went and got it and came right back. It was a very good experience. Their price was very reasonable. They quoted me the price and even though there were problems that he ran into that weren't in the quote, he still charged me $100. It was to troubleshoot and make a system work that my brother had put in. I think their price was pretty reasonable. I called around a few different places. I made an appointment and they came in pretty quickly. I would surely use them again in the future.

The lady who answered the phone knew exactly what was needed. Another company I called had no idea what the problem was or how to fix it.

Called in AM, helpful and pleasant woman on the phone. Service guys (2) arrived on time at 1 PM and went right to work. Good sign. They rearranged some cabling and tightened some of the springs above the door. I live in a three-story condo building and by the time I went upstairs, got my checkbook and came back down the service was done. All in all approximately 10 minutes of work. So far so good. Lead service man takes out a paper invoice form on which other figures had been pre-typed. He scratches out all the other numbers and hands me the invoice -- $225. Me: "$225 for 10 minutes worth of work? Seems awfully high." His answer, in a sarcastic tone: "Sometimes it takes 5 minutes!" Me: "That may be, but I'm not paying you guys $225 for 10 minutes worth of work." His answer: "I'll have the office call you." When I talked with the office, they told me the minimum charge for putting a door back on track is $150. That's what I wound up paying. I also suggested that it would have been nice to know that before I authorized the service call.

One of my existing hinges broke, as I was attempting to enter my garage during my lunch hour, on a stormy day. I called the company and they came right over. They helped me get my wife's car out of the garage, so she could pick up the kids from school, while I went back to work. We are in and out of the garage frequently, so I needed the door repaired right away. They advised that they could return in a couple of hours and install the new hinges and springs, as they were on their way to a previously scheduled job. They returned when promised and did a great job with the door, as it opens smoothly and evenly. I appreciate that they squeezed me in the same day, helped me get the other car out with the hinge being broken and overall did a nice job. I just think that I might have paid too much because of the pickle I was in. I'm not sure if what I paid was too much, but I have a feeling it was.

TWO TECHNICIANS CAME TO REPAIR THE DOOR. BOTH TECHS WERE VERY PLEASANT. WHEN I INQUIRED ABOUT MY OTHER GARAGE DOOR OPENER HE EXPLAINED THE PROBLEM, AND THEN OFFERED TO REPAIR IT ON THE WEEKEND.

WE GOT THE DOOR FROM THEM 20 YEARS AGO SO THEN WE HAD TO REPLACE IT. WE LIKED THEM SO WE USED THEM AGAIN. IT IS PROBABLY BECAUSE THEY'RE IN SAN PEDRO. THEY'RE LOCAL.

THE COMPANY CHARGE FOR A SERVICE CALL ON TOP OF THE CHARGE FOR THE OPENERS AND SERVICE TO INSTALL THE DOORS. I WOULD NOT CALL THEM AGAIN.
