Okay, except window screen unit was defective and required several additional visits to get working. Staff was pleasant and professional.

Install was prompt & as requested.  Even added a couple of things from my "can you make it do this" list.

Very reasonable price.

Staff really knew their stuff.  ALL the staff!  Needed one small programming tweak after living with the system for a few days, and when I called the office, the FIRST PERSON to answer the phone resolved it on the spot !

Mark at Peninsula is both knowledgable and thoughtful. Where other security companies were quick to suggest changing my system and installing their own, Mark took the time to understand what we needed and provided us with exactly the service we wanted. And, at a very reasonable price.

I didn’t have any problems.  The alarm seems to be working fine.  It was great that they came out and sat down with me to find out what my needs were.  They actually have a system that I could use and could add features that I liked.  I didn’t feel too pressurized to buy anything.  When they did the install, they actually installed a couple of things that weren’t on the original quote.  Then they did remove it.  They did not charge me extra for it because they removed it.  They gave me the option if I wanted it or not.  It was just an additional part.  That was the only downfall of this experience which I didn’t really like.  I really liked them though.  They spent hours installing the system.  I would use their services again in the future.

Peninsula Security set up my alarm system in April of 2010. They went over my existing system and added new sensors where needed and a new command center. It's a nice set-up -- I get punctual emails any time something happens, such as the time I forgot I had the alarm system on and opened a window in the middle of the night. Last week, the alarm system went off in the middle of the night again, but this time I was sound asleep. Luckily it turned out to be a false alarm. I called them the following morning and Mark came out right away, diagnosed the problem, and fixed it for free, under the warranty. I was impressed by his punctuality and professionalism.

I called Peninsula on the recommendation of a friend who has used them for a few years. Mark was very responsive and answered all my questions quickly and completely. He came out to the house and wrote up a proposal, which we received in the mail 2 days later. He recommended particular options based on the size of our house and the type of alarm, and against other options because they didn't make sense for us and would cost too much. The installation was scheduled within a week and was completed in about 3 hours. The technicians were able to incorporate some working equipment from a previous alarm system, which also saved us some money. Monitoring fees are also more reasonable than other places I have contacted, about $25/ month, slightly less with an annual contract. Everyone at the company has been very helpful and extremely competent.

I HAVE USED THIS COMPANY FOR A VERY LONG TIME. ONCE RECENTLY MY SERVICE WAS INTERRUPTED AND I HAD TO CALL THEM IN. THEY DIDN'T CHARGE ME ANYTHING AND THEY CAME OUT VERY QUICKLY.
