The man who performed the inspection was very informative and the two gentlemen who treated the areas were
on time and very polite.

We had been putting off fumigating our house for termites for years, and finally, after seeing swarms of termites around and in our house, we figured it was time to protect our most valuable asset. We have never had to have an "occupied house" fumigated before, and the entire intimidating process was made bearable by Escocia Termite, every step of the way. The owner of the business, Gordon, was very helpful and had to do quite a bit of metaphorical "hand holding," answering questions, a giving complete list of our "to dos" for each step of the process, dropped off extra bags for our food and medicine, and was exceedingly good-natured and kind with us. We thought our house presented quite a challenge for tenting, in that it is an irregular design, but the excellent crew sealed it up amazingly well. The crew that put up the tent and took it down (two different teams, as it happened) were very efficient and hard working, and were very kind in a number of ways. The next step of the process was to have a crew come and do the carpentry: the front gate and garage area needed work, and the large job was demolishing and replacing our large patio stairs/deck with Trex, so we won't have a termite problem in the future. It took about three days of work to accomplish the carpentry, and the stairs/deck required a major amount of time. Each day, Gordon came by to supervise his very excellent and hard-working crew: Juan, Arturo and Rick. Each worker had a very strong work ethic, was very pleasant and considerate, and left the site very clean and orderly at the end of each work day, and at the end of the project. We had some ants that came in after the fumigation, and Rick very kindly put some spray along affected areas (an eco-friendly orange oil) that has largely taken care of the problem. In regard to the stairs/deck, this was a major project, requiring the use of treated lumber to be used to create a strong supportive structure for the Trex. The Trex is not an easy material to handle, and creates a lot of dust. As difficult as this project was, Gordon and his crew rose to the challenge and did a beautiful job. I am so grateful for the excellent range of service provided by Escocia Termite, and will recommend them to neighbors, friends and relatives.

We got a quote from Terminix and others and Escocia was not only competitive, but also offered a discount for doing both houses. They were on time, did good work, and when there were some issues, they sent a workman out a second and third time immediately to guarantee the work was completed to our satisfaction. Overall, I was very impressed with their company and would not hesitate to use them again and recommend them to others.

They were amazing. It's a family owned business. They did a great job. They did what they were supposed to. They created no damage. They were neat and tidy. They were very careful. They were very concerned about my roof because the tiles crack easily. They did a good job of not cracking the roof. They seemed to know how to walk on the roof. I would use them in the future.
