The owner, Juan Ortiz bent over backwards to accommodate my schedule, my specs, my wishes. He was patient, professional, friendly and responded immediately when I tried to contact him. His crew was EXCELLENT. The arrived on time, everyday. They fixed things they weren't required to fix. They did a painstakingly beautiful job, and they cleaned up thoroughly. I recommend them enthusiastically and will definitely be using them again.

We needed our house painted quickly. Juan was able to paint our house within two weeks of our contacting him. It took one week for his painters to paint the exterior of our three-story home, including repairing some dry rot. The house looks fantastic! We will definitely hire Juan and his team again.

Juan and his team were great! They were patient with all my requests and changes throughout the job. The paint and grid pattern/wainscoting really transformed my house. I've already started to refer Walls N Beyond to friends and family!

It was remarkably painless. Their bid (for the painting, before we knew how much carpentry would be needed) was much lower than two other bids I had gotten, but their documentation was excellent, their references checked out, the reviews on Angie's List were positive, and they responded quickly and fully to my email questions, so I decided to give them the job. They were able to go to work on our project right away. Once they got the walls open, the carpenter was able to very rapidly put together a quote for the carpentry work. The bids ($3600 for the painting, $3250 for the dry rot repair and carpentry) were exactly what we wound up paying. The work went very quickly, and was completed while I was out of town for the weekend. I returned to a dazzlingly bright house. The handling of the trim around the doors and windows was immaculate, and the siding patches were matched to the original darn near perfectly. And, as I mentioned, they took care of the wooden fence around my front yard without asking, and even painted the retaining wall (which needed it, but which I had neglected to ask about) at no extra charge. I confess that, had I been there to view the work before they finished, I probably would have negotiated to have them put on an additional coat, just for added longevity, but the coverage (primer+one coat gloss latex from Sherman-Williams) was quite complete and I am confident it will look good for quite a while. And as proof that they stand behind their work, they came back on the Saturday after I returned (i.e. after I had paid them in full) to finish up painting the edges of a door (which they could not have opened while I was out of town). The workers were always prompt, polite and professional, and the entire job stress free.

These guys were very good. I had short time frame. They were available on my schedule, to complete the job, and did so, as promised, in the alotted 4-5 day time frame. The job was reasonable size: office walls and ceiling, master bedroom walls and ceiling, bathroom walls, plus a large living room and dining room. One wall had a large bubble. Turned out to be some paint over wallpaper from previous owner and these guys removed it and re-plastered the whole wall (well done, as I requested). They have licence and certificate of liability insurance as was needed by my HOA ! Just one note, be sure you know exactly what paint you want be sure to specify make and quality in detail. The owner was pleasant and very reasonable fellow to work with. The workers were very courteous and responsive, and all handled all my requests from my daily inspections expeditiously and with respect. :-) Recommended.

Juan came over to give us a bid to patch crown molding and paint our Living Room/Hallway ceilings. Juan had no hesitation in tackling our detailed ceiling painting project and answered all of our questions. He quickly sent us a bid, which included a link to his Angie's list deal, which he said would work well for us, since we had already purchased paint.
We set a date for January 2016. However, Juan called me and offered to do the job sooner, because the heavy rains had cancelled his other outdoor projects. On the day of the job, Juan came out and supervised his guys as they thoroughly prepped our walls and wood floors for painting. Once the work began, his lead painter Rodrigo was very careful when doing the crown repair work. After every patch and sanding was done, he made sure I was happy with the look and if I wasn't, he correct it, no problems! Once the crown was completed, Rodrigo also did a fantastic job spraying our ceiling/tiles. The day went fast and when the work was done, the guys cleaned up everything.

I hired Juan and his team from Walls n Beyond to paint the exterior of my two-story house in Montara just south of Pacifica on the coast, and they did a fantastic job. He came out to do a quote, arrived on time, gave good advice and a competitive bid. We arranged to get started quickly since the rainy season was coming soon, and his team was great. They were courteous, friendly, safe, and committed to satisfaction. They even painted our gutters for us for free, which we had not included in our quote. After pretty much done, any touch-ups I found were completed enthusiastically by Armando, who was a pleasure to work with as well. All around exceptional service. I highly recommend them.

Scheduled painting of my apt promptly, in the same week as the call. Juan came personally on Saturday morning to look at the space and review what I wanted precisely. He came with the painters. They came 10 minutes early, which was great. The painters were respectful and very professional. They completed the work in about 7 hours. Cleaned everything before leaving. They even helped move furniture within the bedroom space.
I recommend this company as they are highly efficient and do a great job at making your home a nicer place by freshening up your walls.

They left some screws loose on a door knob and on a heater vent. It was a good experience overall, but there was a little running paint and things not smoothed out in some areas. I would use their service again, but I would look more closely next time. The more I looked, the more mistakes I saw, but I haven't seen any need to call them back.

Juan was very friendly and responsive. He scheduled a visit the day after my call, while many other providers were unable to come within a week for various reasons.
He checked the job site and gave me a lot of good suggestions. He also gave me a list of documents about painting basics, color scheme recommendations, etc. The process was very pleasant. The quote he gave us was reasonable, although we ended up not using him due to an extremely tight budget. I think I will consider using him again.

Work was done very carefully and they cleaned up thoroughly each day. Workers arrived promptly each day and worked hard the entire time they were here. Mr. Ortiz came by each day to check on the progress and to check in with me to see if there were any questions or problems. There was also an on site supervisor. Since our house is occupied/furnished the workers had to put the furniture back in place each night so we could stay in our home; they did so without complaint. The original estimated completion was 10 days, but they finished the job in 8 days.

Walls N Beyond met and exceeded our expectations in all respects. The crew (3 person on several days, and 2 person on some days) accomplished a major interior job within the estimated time (2 weeks) and with excellent quality. All quality control details were attended to--many without our even asking. By the final walk-through, there was little that had not already been done after we pointed it out to the crew. The crew was professional, respectful, and straightened up each day. The crew observed all of the rules of our condo association including daily check-in, work hours, and materials storage and transport. We had no difficulty communicating with the crew, and the owner, Juan Ortiz, visited often to manage the process--he promptly responded to our questions and requests that we phoned to him if we didn't see him when he came by.
The owner advised us during the bidding process on which finishes (matte, eggshell, semigloss, etc.) would be advisable for which surfaces. His bid was helpfully descriptive, and included his insurance declaration page and a copy of his license--it was helpful not to have to ask for that since we have to provide it to our condo association.
We are 100% satisfied and recommend Walls N Beyond without any reservation.
