Sewing Machine Repair
I waited on hold for 40 minutes with the main company to find out if the store in my area was in business and the business hours. At the end of 40 minutes I received a recorded message that the business was now closed and to call back the next business day.
As of the end of today I still have not received a response to my email to the main company. I did get through to the local service center in San Mateo today. The person explained they were closed because he did not come in to work yesterday. Sometimes they close so it's best to call first. Routine sewing machine service is around ~$89.95. They are open M - F (can't remember if he said weekends) from 9 to 5, but sometimes they are not there. They get most repairs done in a few days.
Since the center was a 45 minute drive from my home and I have very few days off that I can go to the Service Center I decided it wasn't worth the risk of going there and finding out they were closed or closed on the only day I had time to go out there.
