Shag Bros Carpet & Upholstery Cleaners

I first heard about Jerry/Shag Bros. from a friend in San Francisco who had used Jerry's services when someone dropped a tube of bright red lipstick on his white carpet. When I heard Jerry was able to remove the lipstick stains completely, I didn't think twice about calling him the next time I needed my carpets cleaned. Today I used Jerry's carpet cleaning services for the third time in the last 3 years. My husband and I spilled dirty, sappy Christmas tree water all over our cream colored wool carpet when we were taking the tree out after the holidays (definitely one for the annals of stupid customer tricks). We were afraid the carpet was a total, but Jerry was able to get the stains out. And as luck would have it, just before Jerry arrived, our cat vomited on our bedroom carpet, so I had him treat that stain as well. As has been my experience in the past, Jerry was able to schedule a visit within two days before the stains set in the carpet. This time he brought his son Max along to help. Both Jerry and Max are personable and friendly and most important, excellent at what they do. Cleaning wool carpets is a particular skill, and Shag Bros. definitely knows how to clean wool. While Shag Bros. is based in San Mateo and I'm in Marin, Jerry is willing to drive to Marin and of course he covers San Francisco and the Peninsula as well.
