Izmirian sent out their estimator and we discussed the job, which was to replace the downspouts on both sides of the house, three on each side for a total of six. When the quote arrived by email it called out five downspouts and indicated the house was two stories on each side, when the front is actually one story and the back is two. Confused by the inaccuracies, I immediately responded via email and pointed out there were three downspouts in the front as well as the back, mentioned the concern about stories, then asked if the revised information would change the quote. I also offered to send photos if that would help clarify the job. The hard-copy of the quote arrive in the mail a couple of days later, but again showed only five downspouts and two stories on both sides. Since Izmirian never responded to my inquiry to correct the quote and never followed up, I called another company who came out, looked at the job, provided and accurate quote. I awarded them the job.

Excellent work.  Much better than the previous installation by another company.  Delivery of materials and installation was done in a professional manner.  The supervisor, foreman and workers were pleasant and amenable to answering all of our questions.

We really liked them and they did a really good job. They did extra work and the cost was less than other places. We were really happy. They did all the work they said they would do plus extra. They were prompt and professional and stayed within our budget. They gave extras. We would use them again.

Job went well overall. Work required both roofer and electrician which Izmerian subcontracted directly. All workers seemed highly experienced, professional and timely. We had a small issue with the size of the new fan which required opening up more of the ceiling of the bathroom than expected. Izmerian agreed to stick with the original quote price even though the work took longer than expected and needed an additional step to repair ceiling. Upon completion we were very happy with the project. I would recommend Izmerian to anyone.

They were supposed to come on a Friday, because it was supposed to rain they came two days early so we wouldn't get stuck with a leaky skylight. I appreciated the interest they took in it. It was kind of nice that they had that kind of interest, you don't find that very often.

A technician came and assessed the damage and said that it would have to be repaired on a time and materials basis which was fine with me. The work was promptly scheduled and when two technicians came to make the repairs they were too large to fit in the sub-standard crawlspace. The original technician returned with an assistant but could not get the materials into the crawlspace. I then hired a different contractor to improve the crawlspace access -- this took me over a month to schedule. After the crawlspace access was improved, Izmirian scheduled the duct repair work on two-day notice. The technicians arrived promptly and gave me an accurate assessment of the time and materials effort. They completed the job quickly and checked out the ductwork from inside the house, noting some problems which I could correct. Over the three months this process took, Izmirian did not bill me for their technician time for the earlier abortive attempts until the work was completed.

We spoke to Luther Izmirian who came out the following morning to asses the problem and determine if repairs made sense. Luther explained most patiently the operation of a furnace, availability of tax rebates, and gave us an approach to make a decision. Considering that furnace was over 20 years old, we decided against repairs and purchased a new 95% efficient furnace, which was installed during the next day. Workers were clean, neat, and above all punctual. Luther was available by phone and clarified any questions.

We have used them for years, and as usual, are generally very pleased. All work except Heater repair inquiry was excellent as usual. Another tech (not usual tech) looked at heater, and incorrectly advised there was no problem which was diagnosed as a problem on a subsequent visit and in the process of being repaired. This is atypical for Izmirian and we trust them totally and don't even bid against them as they are fair and always competitive.

VERY PROFESSIONAL AND TIMELY. ARRIVED ON TIME, LIFTED SKYLIGHT TO SECOND STORY OF HOUSE, REPLACED AND TESTED THE WINDOW WITH WATER. TOOK AWAY OLD WINDOW AND LEFT EVERYTHING THE WAY IT WAS WHEN THEY ARRIVED.

THESE PEOPLE WERE A DELIGHT TO WORK WITH. I HAD SOME PRETTY SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS THAT WERE SLIGHTLY OUT OF THE ORDINARY FOR A NEW HEATING SYSTEM. I GOT 4 QUOTES. ALL OTHERS WERE DOUBLE OR MORE OF THIS COMPANY. THIS COMPANY SAID, 'LET'S START HERE AT THE LOWER END. THERE ARE A COUPLE OF INEXPENSIVE THINGS WE CAN DO THAT HAVE A DECENT CHANCE OF MEETING YOUR NEEDS. IF THEY DON'T WE WILL INSTALL THINGS SO THAT ADDITIONS CAN BE MADE EASILY. BUT LET'S TRY THE INEXPENSIVE OPTION FIRST.' OBVIOUSLY GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY ARE WONDERFUL AND THEIR INEXPENSIVE OPTION WORKS FINE. THE OWNER HIMSELF CAME UP WITH THE DESIGN.

EXCELLENT JOB. WE DID HAVE TO WAIT ABOUT 3 WEEKS FOR THE WORK TO BE PERFORMED BECAUSE THEY ARE SO BUSY, BUT IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT. THE PRICING WAS COMPETITIVE AND THEY REALLY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING.
