About us

As the owner of Fastframe San Mateo since 1996, I offer quality custom picture framing craftsmanship, fine art and mirrors to consumers, art collectors, interior designers and commercial clients. I began my career in the Interior Design field and am currently furthering my education in Studio Art. I have one employee who I have worked with for 20 years, and came aboard Fastframe San Mateo in 2000. Our Expert framing services and products make us a leader in custom framing. The foundation of our reputation lies in our high quality craftsmanship, our variety of products, our immediate turn around capabilities as well as our one-of-a-kind guarantee which covers our customer's complete satisfaction in design and craftsmanship. Custom Framing is an old world craft. It is one of the few products produced today that is still truly custom made. The Fastframe Operating System is unique in the framing industry and has taken this old world craft and added modern technology, which allows us to produce products in a fraction of the time that it takes our competitors. Stop by and browse our gallery of art and inspirational ideas. Though our trade is not formally licensed, we can be certified as a picture framer through the Professional Picture Framers Association. This certification is a rigorous test involving all aspects of custom framing and art handling. I have held that C.P.F. certification since 1992. I am also a member of PMA Imaging Association. Vonna helped me select the perfect mat color and frame style. She also suggested the overall frame dimensions. Quick turnaround; it was ready for pickup in 2 workdays. When I took the framed item home and was preparing to hang it on the wall, I noticed that the double mat wasn't centered properly. I took it back to the store and they fixed the problem quickly (ready to pickup in 2 hrs). Lots of frames to choose from but most aren't in stock. They place the order and have the entire job done in a few days.
