From the day we met Ellis to the start of demolition was one year. This is because we planned on having very very detailed specifications of all of the materials, installation, and layout. Ellis recommended Shirley Lo, our designer, who was also excellent (she selected colors and many of the materials and finishes for us). We have been in our 'new' home for five years, and I still walk in at the end of the day and think "I can't believe I live in such a beautiful house!" I credit this to Ellis.

ELLIS SCHOICHET IS AN EXCELLENT ARCHITECT, WHO NOT ONLY PROVIDED CREATIVE SOLUTIONS TO DESIGN ISSUES BUT ALSO CAREFULLY MANAGED THE CONSTRUCTION PROCESS TO RESOLVE UNANTICIPATED ONE-OFF PROBLEMS AS THEY AROSE.
