We found Brian through Angie's list and interviewed him for our kitchen/bath remodel project. He was highly professional and reliable throughout the interview and bidding process. He was honest with us about what he thought needed to be done, but didn't try to push extra work on us (like some other contractors did). He was very creative and had a lot of great ideas about how to make our project better. We were fortunate enough to interview more than one contractor that we really liked, and in the end we ended up hiring someone else mostly due to logistical reasons (start dates, etc). However, I would recommend Brian in a second to a friend or family member looking for a contractor, and wouldn't hesitate to ask him to bid on a future project.

Everything went well. Since he did a major remodel of kitchen and two baths in our condo in 2010, Brian has helped us with several small jobs that were too complex for a handyman. I know several of his other clients, and this type of "continuing care" is typical of his professionalism. If you care about your property and plan to live there many years, if you want absolute honesty and a streak of perfectionism, if you work best with someone who is a true gentleman, Brian Fitzmaurice is the contractor for you.

Brian was punctual, upfront and professional. The repair was a relatively small job but I had been procrastinating having the repair done because I was apprehensive of finding someone who wouldn't give me the run around (ie Replace the whole bathroom??). Brian was direct about his plan, gave me input about long term options without being pushy. He made extra strides to make sure each step was done thoroughly with careful attention to the aesthetics of the room. When all was said and done, he did a beautiful job in a timely manner and I kick myself for having waited so long. I will definitely keep Brian's contact information for future reference. Thanks, Brian!

The guy is superb. He is the best. It went very, very well. This particular one was a small job but he did a major job for us and in both cases he was cost effective. He was excellent. The quality was superb. I would definitely use him again.

Brian Fitzmaurice is by far the best contractor we have ever worked with. He is level-headed, courteous and scrupulously honest. Throughout the project, he thought out solutions to problems before they occurred, and always kept us informed. We were fortunate to have him working personally on much of the project; he is highly skilled. In addition, he is careful about the skill and courtesy of the workmen he hires. He engages top-quality sub-contractors who each did excellent work; like Brian, they stand behind their work. Even though we were living in our condominium throughout the project, Brian's low-key courteous manner and his care to keep the jobsite clean meant that we always felt as if we had our home under our feet.
