The floors look great, and the people were all competent and friendly. Connie Hammond was exceptional in her making us comfortable with the process.

Work was done in one day. The contractor did a good job. Will recommend.

From estimate to completion of work everyone was professional, friendly and punctual.  The job was done well and they cleaned up at the end of each day.  The job was done well and within the time frame promised.

They were amazing. Their pricing was amazing and I was very pleased. Their service was outstanding and also they were extremely professional. They went out of their way to accommodate me. They were quick and have good customer service. I couldn't recommend them highly enough. I've already recommended them to a friend who's using them. They were above and beyond.

My experience with them was satisfactory, and I was pleased. They were pretty sharp. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

I thought the price was right, they did a good job and I was satisfied with what they did. I think it's important that you keep in touch with them, they have a lot going on and a lot of crews going out. It's important to keep in good communication with them, they expect you to call when you have specific questions. I think you need to first identify exactly what you want, they've come back when I've had questions and did everything I asked them to do. They responded to every inquiry I had. I feel confident about them and would use them again. I asked them to first give me a quote and then I evaluated it. I solidified my decision after checking with Angie's List.

Very pleased with this company. Highly recommend. Strengths: Getting it done. Overcoming obstacles. Helpful towards problem solving. Weaknesses: Tiny bit sloppy in areas not frequently seen like a seldom used powder room. (B for quality) No confirmation the day(s) before job start...we cleared out the rooms, set-up alternative living arraignments, and then worried they might be a no-show for the first day (which is common for sub'd in construction). They did show up on time so this complaint might be more of my problem and not theirs. (B for professionalism).

Bottom line: it went great! Highly recommended. Details: I needed my floors leveled before having bamboo flooring put down. First, it is difficult to find contractors who are willing to level floors. Leveling floors is kind of a tricky business. For example, I needed the bedroom floors brought up, but not so much that I'd have to step down into the bathroom. Lynn gave me a good price, was prompt and courteous, and worked with my other flooring contractor to make sure the floors were level. My floors started out really not level, and when Lynn was done, the other flooring contractor was very pleased with how level the floors were, and so was I. Also, the work was done earlier than I expected. All around, a good experience.

I had an excellent experience working with Bay Area Floors & Design. I liked the sales man in the showroom. The person who did the installation did a fine job. When we had what I thought was a problem with the color they were willing to come out and show me some additional colors. Turned out that they were right and I was wrong about the color, but I appreciated their willingness to come out.

Over all, very good. Very pleased with the outcome. The floors look great.

The crew showed up on the first day and started tearing out carpet. They called me back a little later to look at the floor under the carpet, it was in terrible shape and needed a lot of replacement. So I agreed to a (much larger) new estimate from the sales rep. While I was there the first day, the installer tried to talk me into using a different wood and having his crew do the job directly. I declined. They continued to tear out just what needed replacement. Over the next few days they sanded and finished the old and new floor. In the end, they finished one day late, which is ok given the extra wood replacement, but they left very early several days and so I think they could have finished on time. After they were done, we had a fair amount of dust to clean up. There were also a few spots where the finish wasn't done well, but they came by the next week and fixed those without any trouble. In the end the floors look great, but there was a little drama getting there.

Lynn Hess provided the free estimate, which took about a week to prepare. I had to ask 3 times for references, but finally got them. He was very patient when I dropped into the store and started asking for variations on materials/quotes. The work was supposed to be scheduled 3 weeks out due to their pipeline, but they started the job in less than a week. The guys delivering the materials were very friendly and on time. Danny, the installer, was also friendly and did a great job. He was usually on time (within an hour), but brought his adult nephew who did very little work. Danny cleaned the place up each day before leaving. There was a small snafu with one piece of molding (it was ordered incorrectly) but that was fixed within a few days. I had to inquire about the carpeting schedule, and the guys came at 4 in the afternoon, saying it would only take 2 hours. It took 4 hours, and they finished at 8 p.m. (not good, with young kids at home). They did a nice job though.

Bay Area Floors was fast, professional and provided good advice. Their bid was similar to other bids for the same job. The job was completed in one day. The installer was considerate and did good work. Everything was cleaned up when the job was completed.

Smoothly. Friendly salesman. Immediate email estimate. Workmen were expert craftsmen. Team consisted of supervisor. Carlos and 3 younger workers. Excellent in working with us, respecting the rest of the house and our schedules, needs. Exquisite result. Would definitely use them again.

They have their own work crews who are employed by their company. These installers are the best in the business. They're clean, they work fast and are very nice to deal with as well! One group did the flooring and another did the tile/marble installations.

WE LOVE THIS COMPANY! THEY WERE GREAT FROM START TO FINISH. THEY HELPED US FIND THE PERFECT CARPETING. THEY EVEN TRACKED DOWN A SAMPLE OF CARPETING THAT WE HAD SEEN IN A MAGAZINE BUT WASN'T IN THEIR SHOWROOM. THE INSTALLATION WAS TIMELY AND VERY SMOOTH. THE END RESULT IS PERFECT. WE WOULD RECOMMEND BAY AREA FLOORS AND DESIGN WITHOUT HESITATION FOR ANY COMMERCIAL OR RESIDENTIAL CUSTOMER!

COMPLICATED DESIGN AND INSTALLATION JOB DUE TO THE MATERIAL OF OUR STAIRS (MARBLE) AND THE LAYOUT OF THE STAIRS(CURVED). LORI WYZARD, ONE OF THE OWNERS, IS OUTSTANDING TO WORK WITH AND THEIR PRICES ARE VERY COMPETITIVE.

THE REPRESENTATIVE, CARL, WAS VERY HELPFUL, PROFESSIONAL AND ATTENTIVE. LEE, THE INSTALLER, CAME BACK AND FIXED A PORTION OF THE FLOOR THAT HAD A DIP IN IT. WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH THE RESULTS. WE JUST PUT THE CONDO ON THE MARKET, AND THE FLOOR HAS ALREADY BEEN A BIG HIT. THE FLOOR IS BEAUTIFUL.
