This was a few years ago. I had a Dachshund, which was actually my daughter?s. We took it to this Veterinary. Our daughter was young and wanted a dog, so we got her this dog. It was really hot here, it was a Sunday, I always remember. I looked outside, I notice the dog was laying on the grass. I thought it was sleeping, it was like almost dead. I moved it out of the heat and was trying to keep it cool and everything. Of course it was a Sunday, so we took it to that place.

They took the dog in and kept it overnight. At first we didn?t know if it was going to live or anything. After that, we noticed it had a mark on its side, the whole side, about 18 inches long and 3 inches wide. Ended up, I had to take the dog to another vet after that, because the hair and everything on that part of the dog fell out. The Veterinary was a skin type of doctor, I guess a dermatologist. He said, ?Who burned your dog?? I said, I don?t know!

These people denied it, but they said it had something to do with shock. They used these heating pads. Well apparently, the heating element or whatever they used was too hot. Of course, the dog can?t move or anything and it burned him. I paid over $2,000 bucks for this. They never made good on it, they denied everything, But, that was the only place I had taken it. I even had pictures, we had pictures of it. One of my basketball friends, wife saw the picture and asked ?who burned the dog?? Cause they had that happen to their cat.

This place denied it, and I want to get my money back, because they practically killed my dog. Anybody that asks me about that place, I say, don?t take it there, they will kill your animal. Cause we almost lost a dog and that same place wanted us to spent $4,000 more dollars on doing this and that to the dog. We said, ?you almost killed our dog and I am going to pay you $4,000 more dollars because of something you did??

My wife was the one who took care of it, she read up on it and one of her friends knew some stuff about it. She put all these gauze things on it and everything and finally that whole patch of fur and skin fell off. So, for the rest of her life, she had this big 18 inch by 3 inch scare on her side.  And for them to denied it and saying that they do put them on the heating thing! But, we don?t know what happened.
I think my wife actually took my dog in one time and put it up on the thing and told these people, ?this is what you did to my dog!?, with people in the office there. They are horrible! I would not recommend them to anybody!
