I've used Urbach to re-roof 3 rental properties, including an 8-unit apartment building. Workmanship, customer service and on-site crews have always been first-class. They are excellent at explaining parts of re-roofing the layman doesn't know, such as the need for balanced ventilation and how to achieve it. I was on-site at the last job when the city building inspector came by to sign off on the job. He said it was one of best jobs he had seen.

These guys were in business for 35 years and they're reputable. They did work for me in 05 and put up skylights and everything. It's not only their work, but their ability to follow-up and these guys are good.

Very professional.

I had no complaints. They did the work on time and to the specifications that were needed. I think they could have done a better job with the clean up but that is very minor. I had several guys that came to give bids and it is a large company and the prices were very competitive. He seemed to have a good track record and I called some of their customers and they were very pleased. I would recommend the service. They were very professional, got to the job early and stayed late, and the work was done very well.

From the quoting process to the actual installation of the venting, everything went smoothly. They were professional and easy to deal with. I would definitely use them in the future.

Their price was a lot higher than the company that we went with. They were very attentive and he drew up a nice proposal. They were very professional. We will consider using them again - they did other work for us in the past.

This was a 5 day project.  On day 1 a sub contractor arrived to remove and dispose of the old roofing material.   They put tarps around the perimeter of the property to collect anything that came off the roof.  Within 2 hours the material was removed, the area cleaned and the subcontractor left.   At that time 3 installers from the contractor arrived and began the installation of the material to create a slope on the roof towards the drains.  Day 2 continued the installation of 2 x 6 by 12 ft lumber to create the slope needed for proper drainage.    Day three began the installation of the OSB to cover the 2 x 6's.  At the same time the old roof was opened up to permit the addition of blown in insulation by another contractor`and replacement of bad sections of plywood by the roofing contractor.  After that was completed the OSB cover was finished.  Day 4 the fiberglass base sheet was installed to get everything covered up before a rain storm hit.  Day 5 of the installation involved the installation of the GAF energy cap and the gravel stop.  Additional work was required to fix a leak at the front scupper but the contractor had a man come out promptly to fix the problem.  I became aware of another problem when we had a heavy rain storm.  The stucco parapet wall around the roof had deteriorated to the point where in a heavy rain water could and did penetrate the stucco.  This was repaired by applying webbing over the top of the parapet wall and applying two coats of Elastomeric coating on 120 feet of wall.  This sealed it up and there was no more problem.  Through the whole installation the contractors employees demonstrated professionalism that surprise me considering I had two previous roofing jobs done.  Upon completion of the job I was provided a conditional waiver and release upon payment from the contractor provided by the wholesale roofing company for the material used on the job.  I also received a 10 year limited warranty on workmanship and a 12 year limited warranty on material.

He arrived earlier than estimated and did a great job. He repaired the 2 cracked tiles with no extra charge. He was very professional and only took a half hour.
