Tuscany Pavers

The work is beautiful. Our contact/project manager was very responsive.

They were timely.  They showed up when they said they would.  They were competitive with price with the other estimates.

Tuscany used a sub-contractor, though we were told they would not. Workers arrived very early in the morning and began concrete demolition. Crew wore no hearing, eye, or ear protection while using concrete saws. They also failed to control dust from cutting. These are violations of OSHA regulations and Air Quality regulations. It also shows callous disregard for the health of employees, client, and neighbors. Old concrete can have asbestos in it, as well as other harmful materials that should not be breathed. Crew initially failed to build area to printed specifications. Only after I pointed out that the area built was too small did they reluctantly add the missing area. This required to removal of a below-ground rock, but because they did not want to pay to have the jackhammer brought back, they broke the rock by hand with hammer and chisel. Unprofessional and poor workmanship. Finished area looks nice but doe not drain as specified, leaving puddles on the paver area. 

Everything went smooth from start to finish just like we planned withthe sales rep and the on-site supervisor.

Very nice work Great team of workers. Only problem was with pool coping contractor. Some miscommunication but all was resolved timely and to our full satisfaction.

The service went well. They did an excellent job and provided a great design. They completed the job in about 7 work days. The only thing we wish we would have known about was their use of blowers. It created a lot of dust. We addressed the issue and they started cutting with water to eliminate the dust. We have received a lot of compliments on their work. The technicians were informative and happy to answer our schedules. They were cheerful in spite of doing really hard work. They were very efficient workers and punctual. I had no problem contacting them or scheduling the service. The foreman, Mike, was always available through phone.

We had an old concrete driveway and walkway which was cracking and buckling.  We requested an estimate from Tuscany Pavers, and met with Jay (the owner), who was very helpful in suggesting ideas to make our project even better.  Their estimate, although not the cheapest, was the most professional and complete, so we hired them for the project.

Everything was done in a timely and professional manner and completed exactly as we wished.  Our new driveway, patio and walkway are beautiful, and we have received many compliments from family and friends.  We look forward to having them return to transform our back yard in the future!

It was all very dirty, dusty and disruptive but the end result is great.  The job proceeded a little slower than I expected but we did have unanticipated problems arise that interfered with the work.  Wade, our designer, worked closely with us and the crew, keeping us calm and everything moving forward.  He did a wonderful job and we continue to use him by adding one more project.  If we need anything like this again (and we might since we have quite a large backyard) then I would call him and use Tuscany without getting quotes from elsewhere.  We were very happy with how our job finished up.

The installation went well, but the downwind neighbor complained of the considerable dust generated from cutting pavers (difficult to contain).  All of their work was of very good installation quality.  I am happy with the results!  They were very adaptable to changes that I wanted in the design after work commenced and I really appreciated that.  The crew were for knowledgeable in their craft.

The project went very well.  Designer Gavin suggested a curved entry, which enhances the project and makes it more interesting than other companies' proposals of a squared off entry.  Supervisor Jason was good at answering all out questions, keeping us informed, and making corrections promptly when needed.  We are very happy with the look and durability of the pavers.  One caveat - the demo/installation teams did not always follow Gavin's design and Jason's written instructions.  Our contract called for installation of geotextile fabric under the base material.  The team forgot to install the fabric and had to remove the base to do so.  We had chosen a "runner" pattern for the walkways and "random I at 45 degrees" for the driveway and the entry.  The team started to place a runner pattern on the entry.  They changed to the correct pattern when reminded.  Jason saved us some money by suggesting we complete the northern walkway using the leftover pavers.  All in all they were very good at doing whatever it took to make us happy.

They did our patio and side yards. We loved the look so much that we are having them do more in the new year.

Estimator came out to provide some ideas to a fairly challenging situation.  Definitely not the company for you if you are looking to complete a small job.







|No plans ever came to fruition. This particular build is probably more suited to stamped concrete. No work was contracted.

Initially I received 3 quotes from other providers and although Tuscany was not the cheapest they listened to my needs and gave me a design and quote that was clearly more to what I wanted done.  It doesn't mean the other providers would have eventually given me designs to meet my needs it's just that Tuscany was able to illustrate my needs much better than the other providers. They were also able to start on the project much sooner and get it completed in time for my daughter's birthday party.  
The owner was also involved in the final design before work was done and provided excellent suggestions to what could be done.  This in addition to 0% financing for a year was essentially "icing on the cake."
The only issue I had was that different sets of workers were involved and I did not receive updates on the entire project on a daily basis so it was hard for me to know if the people that were in backyard were supposed to be there.

Our backyard project is absolutely gorgeous.  Tuscany Pavers performed all of the design features far beyond our expectations.  We are so impressed with the professionalism and quality of the work.  In addition, each step of the way during the process we were able to ask questions and have some input into the design as it took shape.  Jay, the owner, went out of his way to make sure selection of product (boulders, etc) met with our approval and that the plan laid out was what we wanted.  The deliveries of materials were in time and carefully placed and the separate teams for each job (pavers, sealing, waterfall) were courteous, friendly and hard working.  Just an amazing transformation of a large portion of our backyard that we had put off doing until now. So glad we chose Tuscany Pavers; no regrets, just a wonderful experience and it's made our outdoor living space so inviting.
