DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Estimate only, It was a thorough, nicely prepared written estimate, but it was by far the highest, 70-80% above others. And a strong push for doing a complete re-roof vs. just repairs, which would have added over $6K to the cost. No thanks!

SERVICE PROVIDER RESPONSE
This gentleman did not want to here that the roof should be replaced. I think others were telling him what he wanted to hear to get the sale. We see so many of these that are not handled properly and they have recurring problems.02/22/2012

Mike Brito (Shadowcrest) came in as the lowest bidder. The next closest bid was $5,000 higher. We were very specific with those who bid, in that we made sure that each were bidding on the same materials. We recently had our heating/AC duct work and insulation done several months earlier. The roof that we were replacing actually consisted of asphalt shingles over shake (wooden) shingles. There was no sheeting underneath., Our home was completely open to the elements briefly. We expressed our concern about protecting our new insulation and duct work from falling debris. The crew
