 + -1 moreFirst, let me say this is my brother in law's company. Second, let me state that I would not have used them if I didn't already trust their work, because I can easily put quality work over family any day, especially when it comes to our biggest investment -- our home. We chose this company because we know their work and trust their experience. We were not disappointed. The end result received compliments from other contractors who were in our home for other work, including a compliment from our outstanding electrician. REM installed a new AC and heater, removed the old equipment, replaced all the old ducts and re-routed/added ducts for a much more efficient system, installed a programmable controller (very nice to have), re-routed the wiring and drain line for the compressor, insulated the venting in the garage, and then left the place spotless. This was a dirty, messy, hot job and it was one of the most painless parts of our remodel.
Description of Work: First, they replaced the old AC with a new one, and moved the compressor from the front yard to the side of the house near the garage, all of it, from the electrical to the drain line. They replaced our old heater. They replaced all the old duct work in the attic, re-routing some ducts and adding 3 new ducts. They put in a new, computerized controller in the house. They cleaned up after themselves. It took almost 2 weeks. It's been quite awhile since we did the work, and the whole system never let us down. It was amazing how much more even the house temperature was, all over the house. No cold (or hot) spots anymore. The addition of duct work in the room addition was a stroke of genius.
