RELIABLE HOME REPAIR

Charlie did handyman work at our house on several occasions in 2006. Once it was established that punctuality was essential (he will be chronically late if given the opportunity), then he was fine for a few visits. However, Charlie was to do touch up painting on his last visit in December and not only did he miss key areas that were obviously marked by painters tape, he also left with all of the touch up paint. I called him several times and each time he said he would return the paint right away. He was also supposed to give me a quote for deck re-coating. It's been over two months and I still have no touch up paint or a proposal. Obviously, I will never use Charlie again and I certainly would not recommend him to anyone...which is a shame because he's capable of doing good work when he doesn't let all of his personal problems and excuses get in the way. "Reliable" is far from what this company is.

Charlie came out and estimated the work and cost. He was friendly and offered useful advice on how to prepare the door for install. After I prepared the door, and after a few phone calls, Charlie came out and did a nice job installing the door. There was a minor issue with the door weather seal that went unresolved. The drywall patches were done well. This allowed me to do the finish and texture and paint myself and save some money.

VERY POLITE MAN DID EXCELLENT WORK. HE WAS ON TIME & KEPT IN TOUCH WITH ME ALL THE WAY. CALLED AFTER WORK WAS COMPLETED TO SEE IF I WAS SATISFIED. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
