I chose Parker Painting based on Yelp reviews and am 100% happy with my choice!
We have a 10+ year old pergola that covers almost the entire length of the back (west) side of the house. It's exposed to sun and lots of wind daily, and was looking pretty beat up, with some cracks in the wood and rusting bolts. I think the previous owners had done some touch-ups, too, which actually made it look worse because the paint didn't exactly match.
Jason came out right away and took photos and e-mailed me his estimate the next day, saying he could fit us in in about 3 weeks, which was fine since we were in no rush. That timeline was pretty accurate. On day 1, his crew pressure washed the pergola, on day 2 they masked off the area, filled in the cracks, sprayed the bolts with anti-rust spray, and began painting. We had thought he might spray paint the wood, but his two terrific guys hand painted the entire thing! We live at the top of a hill, which is usually quite windy. That factor, and the number of surfaces that needed to be coated with paint, made hand painting the way to go. It was pretty labor intensive work, but they were good sports about it and the job took 1/2 day longer than Jason had expected. So that made the price of the job especially reasonable in our view.
I highly recommend Parker Painting and will think of them first for any future painting jobs we might need.
