Kent Merrill Finishing

We hired Kent to come out and refinish/lacquer our very high end bathroom cabinetry (his assistant did the actual work). The work looked great upon initial completion, but then less than a year later, the paint started badly chipping and cracking. We contacted Kent to see if he was willing to make it right. He said he was; made an appointment to come out, rescheduled at the last minute a number of times, but finally made it out. After seeing it, he said he would be in touch to schedule a date for his assistant to come out to fix the job, and then ghosted us. I've called and texted him numerous times over the past SEVEN months to try to get him to honor his promise to come fix the shoddy job, and no reply. I'm receiving read receipts on all of the texts so I know they are being received and read. Incredibly disappointing that after spending all of that money, we are left with a subpar job that is looking worse by the day, and Kent is refusing to honor his promise to make it right.

Kent is the real deal. He takes his time but this is yo ensure that the job is done right. He s honest and he did a phenomenal job for us on repainting our kitchen cabinets. His assistant, Tacho, is a true artist, fastidious and very skilled. Highly recommend these two to do any work in my home!!!
