Punctual/Professional in giving estimate. Landscape Consultant took three weeks to finish landscape design, and the work began within a couple of days of that. The work was performed on time with employees who were presentable and very personable. There are quality of work issues that need to be addressed; the zone/valve system was not completely shut off as two separate leaks were discovered within the first three weeks, presently, at least two King Palms are on their last legs, several more look weak and unhealthy (these were well established palms in containers). We have lost several newly planted geraniums in the front and back yards, a Bird of Paradise, and two Day Lilies. Two transplanted Pygmy Palms have definitely seen better days, and it will take a minor miracle to save them. The plants that were placed around the water feature never looked healthy, and they too are barely hanging on. I have contacted Mr. Tassoni, and his only concern was that I insulted him.

"The member sent unreadable files to us and we have been unable to respond appropriately. We do not replace landscape materials such as shrubs, seasonal color & trees after 30 days. The King Palms in containers were not our product, the member provided them. Our responsibility ends when we plant products not purchased from approved growers. In addition, it is our client's responsibility to irrigate all new plantings by hand until acclimated. This past summer was one of the driest on record. This was explained several times. Late spring is the best time to evaluate plant acclimation. We suggest giving the plants more time. The irrigation issues were existing & difficult to diagnose. Given that there is no schematic of the existing 5+ year old system & that it was not professionally installed & was modified for low-flow without proper components, one would expect that it would require a bit of "dialing in." Whenever the member discovered issues, we responded. To describe irrigation issues as "overlooked" is a mischaracterization. No company in the industry will warranty a system unless it is installed new. Our installation agreement was clear as to expressed warranties & inclusions. The member's current expectations are not compatible with our contract & agreements. While we strive to make all customers happy, we unfortunately know that sometime our 100%% goal will not be attained. We still keep trying. Tony Tassoni, President"

WE HAD SEVERAL QUOTES ON THIS PROJECT. THEY RANGED FROM ABOUT $3,000 TO $5,800. DIGGITY DOG IMPRESSED US WITH THEIR UNDERSTANDING OF OUR REQUIREMENT DETAILS, CLAIM OF FULL-TIME ATTENTION TO ONE PROJECT AT A TIME, AND LOW BIDDER OF THOSE CONTRACTORS THAT WE HAD A WARM AND FUZZY FEELING ABOUT. THEY STARTED ONE DAY AHEAD OF SCHEDULE AND FINISHED IN THE MORNING OF DAY THREE.
