DEWEY PEST CONTROL

I need to cancel. I had to hear the guy about how he's miserable and he wants to leave.

I think I pay a certain amount a month for a year and they just automatically take care of everything.  I’ve been pleased with them but I don’t deal with them.  My husband takes care of all that stuff.  Actually I don’t really even interact with them because most of what they do is outside.  So they come and do their thing, and they leave a note on the door saying what they did.  They’ve been very responsive.  I have an annual contract with them and so they come out every other month.  The price is $66 for two months.  They seem kind of expensive 6.58 to 7.02.

They did miss a date and did not let us know. Other than that, we have only had them for a few months. They are all over in California. We started that contract three months ago. They have been coming out monthly. The initial treatment without the contract is $300. Otherwise, they charge $69 for the first treatment and then every other month I pay $68. They will do both inside and outside on request. We normally have them do the outside. They will come out on special call if we have an infestation of pest, at no additional cost. Their work does not include rodents. We have trained our cats to attack the rodents. Other than, they did not show up that on day and waited to call us after the fact, we have been satisfied with their work up to this point. We were anticipating them and we kept our cats in the house and they were very upset that they could not go out 2 days in a row. Their price is average.

They were a recommendation and so I looked them up through Angie's List. When I called for them to come out to give me an estimate, they came out the very next day. They were very professional, they knew exactly what needed to be done and took care of it. The price was reasonable. If I paid for a full year in advance, I got one month free so I decided to pay it annually.

They were extremely prompt. The service guy they sent out, Cody, was extremely friendly, efficient, he and could tell me everything about the program. He was here on time. Because I work, I needed someone to be here exactly when they said they would be here, and he was.

He not only did pests, but he did rodent services the first month. They came back and were on time. He assured me when someone else came for the monthly service they would give me a call.

It went great. We have been customers in the past, but have moved and are in a new territory. They showed up at the exact time and were very professional and recommended a treatment out side the house and avoided spraying inside the house. We were having problems with ants in several places in the house and I feared that we would need extensive treatment inside. After a couple of days the ants were gone and we have not seen any more. Thanks Dewey!

Overall the experience was very pleasant from the girl answering the phone and assuring me I would have someone there right away....termite droppings over my bed and office desk made it necessary.
The gentleman who did the estimate and the person who did the treatment were very knowledgeable.

They are very professional and prompt. I can always expect them to show up on time every month, and they always do a great job!

If I tell them about stuff they will get on it and then take care of it. So they pretty attentive as far that goes. The problem is that they change guys all the time so you need to break in a new guy all the time. Change of personnel is pretty high so you are dealing with the same guy all the time. There are 10 of them and if you tell them that one has a problem or something they will look at it and take care of it. So they are very attentive and they take care of the problem.

We don't get any bugs. They are reasonable and effective.

The exterminator we were using (Hydrex) was not seeming able to get rid of the ants in our bathroom. A friend of ours highly recommended Dewey, so we've started with them. The man who came out seemed extremely knowledgeable. He gave us many suggestion of things that we could do to help him to help us keep the bugs down (things our old exterminator had not mentioned). He sprayed around the house and put some bait into the bathroom and the ants vanished within a day. They stayed away for almost a month.

Unfortunately, a new breed of ant has come into our bathroom, and these haven't been taken care of yet. However, we haven't done what was asked of us, so I don't feel it's Dewey's fault. He's told us to clear the wood from the side of our house, and clear plants from near the house walls to create a perimeter around the house so he can create a chemical barrier to keep the ants out. We will be doing this over the next few weeks and I will know more then.

My impression, though, was that he knew his stuff, and the original ants were exterminated quickly.

They charge us on a monthly basis, and they are very reasonable. We had some ants in our house earlier. They used to come in and put in some ants traps, but we haven't had that for a couple of years now. We like everything about them. We are very happy with the results, and we don't have any ants in our house anymore. We will continue using them again in the future.

I FELT THAT THEY HAD MY BEST INTEREST AT HEART BECAUSE OF THEIR HONESTY TO WHAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE. I APPRECIATE THEIR HONESTY IN A SITUATION SUCH AS THIS. THANKS TO THEM I DO NOT HAVE ANTS!
