Bob is very knowledge and professional. He fixed our dryer gave us good advice with how to maintain and extend the life of our dryer and washer. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

Serviceman patiently asked for a description of the problem. He inspected the dryer, then quickly troubleshooted to identify 2 malfunctioning sensor coils. He performed a quick cleaning to remove lint from inside dryer areas and exhaust vent. He verified correct dryer operation. Serviceman was courteous, cleaned-up his work area. We are very satisfied with the work and would call this company again.

He showed up on the scheduled day and time, yet he didn't call or announce himself before ringing the bell.He was dressed in denim shorts and never looked me in the eye.He suggested he would replace the 'door gasket' on our dishwasher to stop the leak.He had to 'order' the part and came back 2 days later.He made a really negative comment about a painting in the living room that our Grandfather painted!He gave us a 2 hour window of time that he would arrive.We called him at one hour and thirty minutes.He was grumpy, standoffish and difficult, and argumentative.We started the dishwasher and the leak is still there.We just called him and left a message to resolve the situation.
UPDATED TO ADD: We ran the dishwasher after his work, and found the same problem existed. When we talked about the problem, he claimed he suspected that replacing the seal wasn't even the problem to begin with! I asked why he never mentioned that, and he became argumentative. I asked him what he planned to do to rectify the situation, and he offered to return my check and take his seal back. So he came by on 10/18/11 at 11:59am (the window was 10:00am-12:00pm) and started off the interaction by complaining about the comments we wrote here, tried twice to start an argument, then took his seal, handed over the check, made one more argumentative comment, and left. He left his trash on the counter, again. He's left trash on the counter every time he's been here. He also never offered to remove his shoes.
In fairness, he did return the check. However, I would not recommend him to anyone.

Did not go as well as I would have preferred with regards to punctuality and price. I contacted Coastal Appliance on Monday the 19th, explained the problem which was a vibrating noise when the dryer was running. Appointment was set for Wednesday the 21st between and 10 & 12 a.m. Mr. Sankey called on Tuesday afternoon to ask if arriving earlier was possible, thus setting an appointment time for 8:30 a.m. Mr. Sankey arrived at 9:10 a.m. Mr. Sankey was in my home less than an hour. For being late without a call, the price for the work performed, and then charging me mileage when the distance traveled was only twelve miles (his business to my residence), I feel he could have done a lot better on the price and should have called to inform me he was running late. I did not review his website and check his pricing, which is my fault and I probably wouldn't have called him in the first place had I known what it would have cost me for him to come out and do the work. Flat rate pricing for labor, in this instance, just isn't reasonable. Lesson learned to due further research and ask about pricing. . I'll definitely shop around next time.

I am surprised that some people have given this company a "B" in the price category. In my experience with home repairs, Bob's prices are very reasonable.

Mr. Sankey arrived right on schedule and proceeded to take apart the interior of the refrigerator to find the source of the inside leak. The problem was that the water dripping from the defrosting unit was entering the interior of the refrigerator instead of going down the drainage tube. Applying a sealant to the area affected seemed to be the only solution. Mr. Sankey explained this to us in detail, but, for reasons explained above, we could not have the repair done immediately.

Bob, came on time and he was really great in finding problem. Especially, my dishwasher bottom was not accessible since my handy man glued and nailed the access to the cabinet toe kick. Don't ask why. Bob removed the piece and access the dishwasher. It's was pump problem which was stuck. He tried several times to make it work. Otherwise, I could end up spending a lot more money. I am overall happy though I thought paying $150 was little high for less than a 40 minutes of work, which doesn't involve much. However overall he was great and I highly recommend him.

Bob was thorough and efficient in diagnosing the problem and explaining it to me. His service call price was significantly higher than others in the neighborhood, but he could come a day earlier and he knew the VinoTemp brand, so I decided to accept the higher service call amount.

Bob was very responsive to my phone call and was able to schedule an appointment within 3 days. He arrived on time and considered several possibilities for the problem. He was very organized in pursuing the options and had the problem diagnosed and corrected within one hour. He also made suggestions for other appliances while he was here.

Robert was very helpful during our initial phone call. He listened to my description of the problem and we discussed possible options for my aging model, including how I could order the suspect part myself to avoid multiple calls. Bob diagnosed problem quickly and obtain the replacement part as quickly as he could and replaced. Advised that though the washer was quite old, it was a very solid unit and best to keep it going rather than replace. Appreciated the advice.

Kitchen sink disposal was locked up but no sign of jam, just very tight to turn in either direction. Coastal Appliance was contacted on a Friday evening and was able to come Saturday morning in advance of a Saturday evening party. Bob arrived on time, diagnosed unit as not jammed, but failed (unit approximately seven years old with heavy rust visible inside once he had it removed). Coastal had extra unit in truck and replaced. Total cost was quite reasonable, given that I did not have to go out and buy a unit and that Bob was willing to come Saturday morning to repair. Bob left everything clean after completing the work, just like his past visits.
