They shared references with me and agreed to the terms I added to the contract. They showed up on time. They thought that they would finish in a day but didn't and a new team showed up the next day. They finished and I'm pleased with fence and they did a good job. My only two concerns were that the first crew encased several irrigation pipes in concrete and didn't tell me about it. I would have at least taken a picture of the pipes in case something happens down the road. The first crew also took all of the dirt and rocks from the post holes they dug and dumped it on some of the mulch and flower beds. I pointed it out to the second crew and they did a good job of moving the dirt, although they left the rocks. Overall, a good experience, the fence looks great, everything works and they did a good job.

The job went well. The installation techs build a square and true gate with the materials they are provided.
There was a question about the style of construction, and that issue was resolved very satisfactorily over the
phone by Jason Barrett. He made sure I was satisfied with the work done.

.I spent $2300. About 4 workers came out and they were very prompt. My interaction with the workers was excellent; they're very professional and the office staff is also very professional.

Fence installation was done perfect. Had to call them back for some sloppy work done on the gate. They never installed the outside entry cord on the gate as they said they would. Called and emailed them both with no reply. Never installed outside entry cord.

Once I decided to give the job to Barrett, Jason arranged for the installers to come to do the job within a week. The installers came a little bit late because they needed to pick up the new cedar boards. Chris and Louis were very friendly and professional. They removed the old fence and built a new fence within 3-4 hours. They finished their job quickly and cleanly. The quality of their job was outstanding.

They were very efficient and did a nice job. I paid a little extra and they took all the remainders back with them and cleaned the place. The only thing that disappointed me was, when I had asked them to put a board along the bottom, as I have a dog, they didn’t lower it and they didn’t do it completely. Then i called them back and had it put properly and take the remaining along. They were very sweet to come back and do it all right. They did a great job overall and were reasonably priced. I liked their services and will use the same in future.

I found this company on Angies List. I e-mailed photos of the damaged fence (caused by recent storm) and promptly received a repair estimate from Jason Barrett. The work was delayed by a couple of days due to additional rain, but Barrett Southwest Fence was able to do the fence replacement right after that. The crew showed up right on time and had the work completed in half a day. The work was performed professionally, with quality materials and in a timely manner. I highly recommend Barret Southwest Fence, Inc.

Initially, Jason was very responsive. I submitted a quote request on his web site and he called back the next day to schedule an appointment to provide an estimate. We met at the agreed upon time and he measured the fence and answered my questions promptly. On June 8, he emailed me a quote. After reviewing it with my neighbors who share the fence line, we asked Jason if he could include a quote to paint the fence also. He sent an updated quote and we accepted the bid on June 28. We scheduled the fence replacement for July 1. His workers came out on July 1 and removed the old fence and installed the new one. The work was completed and the site was cleaned up that afternoon. I asked the workers when they would paint the fence and they said they would paint it in 4-5 weeks after the wood had a chance to dry. Jason said that he would call and schedule the painting later. I did not hear from Jason again until I called in mid August (around Wednesday 8/8/10) to schedule the painting. He called back Friday 8/10 with a question about the paint color, but I had left town and did not have cell phone coverage until I returned on 8/20. I have been contacted by Jason only 3 or 4 times since August. He repeatedly says they will be by to paint that week, but never follows up and completes the work.

I hired this company to install vinyl picket fencing. The responded quickly with an visit and estimate, and installed the fence relatively quickly. Unfortunately they installed the gate hardware incorrectly, some of the posts are wobbly, and they haven't responded to multiple emails and phone calls to fix the situation. Also, the day they were installing a different contractor hit a post and dented some of the fencing. They gave me an estimate to fix those dents, but again have been completely nonresponsive since. They'll do the job, but not well and with terrible followup. Avoid.

I spoke with Jason Barrett to schedule an estimate. On the day of our appointment, Jason called ahead. He arrived on time and was professional throughout the meeting. Again, on the day of our scheduled fence replacement, Jason called ahead to let me know approximate time of arrival. His work team worked quickly and we are very pleased with our new fence. We will use Barrett Southwest Fence for any future fence work.

At first I didn't hear from them after leaving a message. But then Jason called and he did follow up with two quotes, one for the initial damage, and then after last storm it was determined that the whole fence was in really bad shape, the posts were really water damaged. After receiving the check from my neighbors for half of the $2000, they did the fence and finished the same day. Jason Barrett called me the next day for the balance and actually came by my work. I wrote him a check. The fence looks good, however now I want it sealed so that it stays looking natural wood.. I have asked him for a quote, which he has provided. I'm in the process of getting one more quote.

Jason and his guys did an excellent job. They're reliable and professional. They showed up on time with all the material and tools they needed to do the job. They completed everything within a couple of hours and cleaned up behind them.

We received bids from 3 companies from Angie's List. Jason's was the lowest so we decided to go with him. We were able to schedule the work immediately. The young men, Chris and Jose, showed up on time, did what needed to be done in a very professional manner, and left the area neat and clean each day. It only took 2 days. My neighbor and I shared the cost because it's a common wall. Jason split the bill which made payment very easy. The fence is exactly the way I requested and the gate looks better than the original. I would definitely use this company again.

They did an absolutely perfect job of installation. Their price was unbelievable, they were fast, efficient and did an amazing job. They were professional and great to work with.

Jason Barrett provided the estimate. It was $3 per linear foot below another well-known fence company. He outbid and outperformed his competitors. We found him to be very professional and responsive. His crew of two completed the work in one and a half days. The new fence is beautiful and very sturdy, and the new gates work perfectly. They cleared and disposed of the ivy for an additional $100, which also included the disposal fee at the landfill. Some of the companies we interviewed insisted that we dispose of the ivy ourselves before they would be willing to do the fence work.This wasn't a problem for Barrett, and made our job much simpler. Also commendable was the fact that when they accidently broke a sprinkler near the fence, they acknowledged the problem and completed the repairs.

I was very satisfied. They did everything I asked them to do and were very reasonable with their prices. I had gotten other quotes from a couple of companies and they were by far the least expensive. I think that their quality of work was excellent.

Jason came out and bid on the job and delivered his bid later the same day. I chose his company for the work on the following Monday and called him. On Tuesday afternoon he called and had a cancellation for Wednesday and offered to slot my job in because it was a one day job. They came on time. Jason was there himself supervising. He finished the job ahead of schedule and right on budget. They even repaired some loose boards in an already existing fence while at my house at no additional charge.

My experience overall was great. Crew arrived on time, were pleasant, and got the job done in 1 day. I would recommend them and use them again.

EXCELLENT JOB! EVERYONE PROFESSIONAL AND VERY PLEASANT. THEY DID THE JOB IN 2 DAYS... COMPLETE CLEAN-UP, AND EVEN CUT BACK SOME BUSHES WITHOUT MAKING A CASE FOR ''EXTRA CHARGES.'' I WILL RECOMMEND THEM AGAIN. I DON'T THINK THE 2 LARGER COMPANIES THAT BID QUITE A BIT HIGHER COULD HAVE DONE ANY BETTER.
