I've been going to him for 20 years in several cars. So I've had all kinds of things done. It took about an hour to complete the work. The workers were professional.

Allen's Wrench has been servicing my car for 5 years. My latest repair after noticing I was leaking radiator fluid as I pulled into my driveway and I tried to refill it however it spilled out over the floor. I called on a Friday and spoke to Steve who told me to tow the car in and they could look at it Monday or Tuesday. no problem. I thought I would have to buy a new radiator. I got a call Monday morning and here is how the conversation went. and quot; The good news is it is only broken hoses, and the bad news is we wont have the part until tomorrowand quot;. They also recommended I replace a frayed belt. Thinking my car wouldn't be looked at until Tuesday, I was happy to hear it would be done on Tuesday. Even the bad news was good news.
I love these guys as in 5 years I have been taking my car to them, I have NEVER once felt like I was being taken advantage of like so many of the other repair shops seem to regularly practice. They are the most honest shop around. I don't take my car anywhere else and if they cant fix the issue, the always look after me by sending me to their recommended shops.
My car is old, and I have taken it in previously and been given very honest feedback. I was told I should think about options prior replacing anything over a certain threshold due to the date of the model. Having been taken advantage of so many times by car dealerships, I really appreciate their top notch service AND absolute honesty. If you are looking for a good shop Allen's Wrench is the place.
By the way, in the 5 years I have been doing business with them, I still speak with the same people, mostly Steve, which tells me not only to they take good care of their customers, but they also take care of their employees. At the car dealerships I never saw the same people twice in 15 years. To me this is important because from the minute they take my call they know what is going on. They know its history, they know when it will be done and the person that takes my phone call phone can even explain to me in laymen's terms or mechanical terms what is going on with the car.
I have referred my friends who also absolutely love them. I would refer them to anyone who would like a top notch, reliable, honest and efficient company looking after your cars. They are gems!
Thank you Allen's Wrench!

I have been using Allen's Wrench for years on my '98 Honda Accord. I sold that vehicle in early 2013 and will be returning to Allen's Wrench again soon. In fact Dennis (Allen) was instrumental in finding me a buyer for my old car. I recommend this place to all my friends. Dennis, Steve, and the others are always helpful, truthful, and give good advice. When I bought my battery at Costco, they even installed it for me.. I have even taken our Toyota there minor service.

He's excellent. He's so busy, I don't even know if he takes new people. He pretty much works on Honda, Mazda and Toyota. I've been going to him for at least 8 years. He is totally honest, does real good work and everybody that was with him are great. They're like a family. I trust him. I have a brother that drove 500 miles to see him and work on his Honda. Allen's Wrench don't do anything that doesn't need to be done but when he does it, he'll put Honda parts then Toyota parts. He doesn't skip. If it doesn't need to be done right now, if you can wait, he'll let you know. I cannot say enough good things about him. I'm really happy with him. If I get another car, I'll pretty much stay with him.

I have used Allen's Wrench multiple times over the past several years. They are always honest and reasonable, and they don't do work that is not necessary. Even though they are listed as Honda specialists, they work on nearly every type of car. They can also provide shuttle service to nearby locations. I highly recommend them!

I have gone to Dennis' shop for almost 10 years and they have been the only mechanics to touch both of my Hondas since then. Very honest, professional, and the actual costs has never exceeded their estimate. Part of the reason why the last car was a Honda was so I can get it serviced there.

Allen's Wrench specializes in Honda repair and service. I worked with Steve. He was very helpful, upbeat, and most importantly a straight shooter. He never candy coated anything. He just diagnosed the problem and told me what he could do. But he did it in a pleasant manner. Not in a "take it or leave it" style like so many other mechanics do. My engine would not stay idling but it would run ok. Steve said it was probably carbon build up on the idle control valve, because of the high mileage I had on the vehicle. He recommended that I do the 90K engine service since I was over due for a 90K engine service. This was recommended because they would inspect and clean the throttle body and that may correct the problem I was having without having to replace the idle control valve. Well I went with his recommendation and it worked fine. In the end though, the high mileage caught up with me and I did end up having to replace the idle control vale. But the point of the story is Steve knew what was wrong, he gave me some options, and didn't try to rip me off. I appreciate that!

They gave me an estimated price and was under it in the end. They were very polite and the service that they give is guaranteed for a year. Something became loose on my car and it wouldn't go, so I got it towed in to them, and before noon I already had my car back. There was no charge for the repair. They run an honest operation and I felt that I was in excellent hands. I trust them implicitly. Miata club members get a discount.
