It was the best moving experience I've ever had. They were prompt, polite, and strong and they got along well as a team. They didn't damage anything. They finished early and they were just really pleasant people to work with. Other movers that I've used required cash on site, but these guys took credit cards, so there was not pressure to tip them. I did tip them, but I didn't feel like they were standing over me with big muscles.

Everything from start to finish went smoothly and professionally. Although we contacted at least 8 moving companies, Across Town was the only one that responded promptly. They set up a time for someone to come out and actually see all that we had to move. Cliff showed up on time and an estimate was provided by the end of his walk-through.
We were contacted several days prior to the move to confirm all was still in order. Moving day went exceptionally smoothly. Movers showed up exactly on time and our household was moved with care and professionalism. Actual moving time was less than estimated, and our final bill reflected the lesser amount.
The only "casualty" we suffered was a glass salt shaker, and that's because we did the packing and didn't wrap it in paper prior to packing it.
Bottom line -- Across Town Movers provided a very professional, cost-efficient service and we would use them again and recommend them to anyone considering a move within their service area.
